The fish & chip queen has given this fish & chip dish a 10 for excellent gourmet quality. Huge portion glad we ordered a salad and split this. Crispy buttery batter with fresh fish, perfection fries with a nice curry chipotle mayo. It was a raining heavily and we got here after 1 pm but the tables turn over fast. Nice and cozy, friendly service. We skipped on the lobster choices cause we are spoiled from NH and get the big red sweet lobsters and here in Iceland not the same. Not expensive at all. Salad was fresh with goat cheese, beets, fresh mesclun lettuce and more, nice dressing on the side.

So amazing staff. More importantly the food is amazing. The sandwiches and salads are out of this world. They have beers and cocktails that are really budget friendly. ! Itâs on a golf course but if you are not a golfer they have stack of board games if you need a break from life. Definitely coming back. Free WiFi. !

Flatey Farm is a place where some excursions start (snowmobiles on glaciers etc.) and therefore as we participated in one of them we stepped by for a coffee and choclate cake - both were good but unfortunately as most things on Iceland - overpriced.
