We've visited here on numerous occasions when visiting St Ives. During our most recent visit, the food was excellent as always but the waiting staff made it feel like a fast food restaurant. On the first visit this weekend, my plate was whipped away as I took my last mouthful of breakfast. On the second visit, again our plates were taken away quickly and our bill put on the table whilst still drinking our hot drinks! It felt like get you in and out quickly for the next diners! To the chef's, well done in producing fantastic food. To the waiting staff, please give us more time to enjoy the food and drink.

The Jam Pot Cafe is a very traditional beach Cafe. It serves good traditional food throughout the day, such as bacon/sausage/egg rolls, toasted cheese/ham/onion/tomato sandwiches, cold rolls, traditional Cornish pasties and of course English Breakfasts in
Not surprising The Jam Pot has been voted number 6 in Britain's best tea rooms by Countryfile Magazine. You would be hard pushed to find such a quality tea room with a comparable view. The toasties, rolls and choice of home made cakes are quality, quantity and at such an unbelievably good price. The staff are all warm and welcoming and dog friendly too. A definite must when visiting the area. Not far from St Ives and they have nothing remotely to compare with The Jam Pot so well worth the short trip.

Harbour Beach Cafe serving hot and cold drinks, Cornish cream teas, crab sandwiches, lunches soups and cakes. Take away drinks available.
On a hot sunny day, the Beachcomber provided a pleasant and relaxing lunch. We ordered 2 BLT's which was excellent and well presented with a good salad. The service was very friendly, efficient and welcoming. I will look for The Beachcomber next time I am in St IvesGood clean toilets

I cannot recommend this place enough the service from the owner Mark was absolutely impeccable. The place is very small and making a reservation is a must. Nothing is too much trouble. Everyoneâs food was amazing. This was one of the best restaurant experiences I have had in a long time. My favourite dish was the balsamic tomatoes with melted goats cheese as a starter and the lemon sole was amazing as a main. Such a big portion.

Restaurant, wine shop and deli. Friendly, helpful staff and a comfortable relaxed atmosphere, plus great food and the best wine selection for miles around. Oh, and great coffee too.
We visited this restaurant on Wednesday evening after checking open times on web, however they were closed that evening! We visited again on Friday evening and was greeted with very friendly staff who immediately accommodated us, although excellent service we were disappointed with choices in the menu as apart from seafood and a very spicy option all the pizza weâre vegetarian, we are meat eaters, we had to pay extra to have prosciutto added to a very boring margarita pizza. We purchased a bottle of wine from the store on our way out to enjoy at home which was excellent value. We also returned on Saturday morning for a coffee which was lovely. We would definitely return to purchase wine or have a coffe but would definitely not eat here again.Hello, thanks for your review...I do understand that but we are trying to persuade as many customers as we can to eat less meat. Meat is huge contributor to climate change so as a society we all urgently need to eat less if we are to save our species from likely extinction. There is a meat option available - as you realised. We still think the pizza is good value even when you add the optional meat. We just to make it as easy as possible for customers to choose healthy, low carbon options. Thanks for coming to Scarlet and Iâm pleased you liked the rest of the experience.Kind regardsJon

This place did serve us the best vegetarian breakfast weâve ever had!! (They do serve meaty breakfasts too!) And if that wasnât enough, the best homemade scones with clotted cream and jam too! We were literally in heaven! Absolutely spot on in every possible way! And itâs run by such a sweet couple who genuinely care about their guests. To be honest, this was one of our bests, if not the best, meals we had when we went to Cornwall; and we canât recommend this place highly enough! You should definitely go there, I genuinely mean it!

On its slightly elevated position in a little cove, overlooking a beautiful beach this place is lovely. They now have a pretty decked area which is so nice.We have tried various food items and everything has been goodPrices are a little high but other than the Bluff Inn, they have a bit of a captive market. Coffees were nice and the kids loved the piping hot "skin on" chips.Staff were warm and friendly.Super little place.

Amazing, great food, great happy staff, amazing views even when it's grey and raining outside. Food is seriously bloody tasty even down to the side salad and the home made coleslaw, every single element got eaten. Clean plates all round. 10/10

Called for breakfast before travelling home, a pre-made sign on the door says they will be opening slightly later than normal as they are setting up an event. On looking through the window the place looked deserted, hey-ho off to Asda!We think you must have gone to our old location- because this wasnât us. We have submitted the address change to trip advisor because we donât want other customers thinking the same. We certainly are open - now on Penpol Terrace. Sorry we couldnât make you one of our breakfasts before you journeyed home. Seems rather harsh to leave a one star review for food you havenât eaten doesnât it? We truly pride ourselves on our service and food. Duckies.
