I had a smoked salmon sandwich with cucumber and avocado at this roadside spot after not eating all day at the beach. I'd passed this place a couple times while driving and always wanted to check it out. It was delicious - one of the best sandwiches I'd eaten in a long time. It was on a delicious crusty french baguette. The bread made sandwich. All for around $10. The service is slow, they have a limited menu, but I would come here just for the sandwich.
Hamptons Standard features an a spacious restaurant and bar serving brunch and dinner as well as an all-day grab-and-go cafe with craft coffee from For Five Coffee Roasters and is open for breakfast and lunch.
Ordered burger which was completely over cooked. Second burger was just as bad. They added a charge for using a credit card regardless of whether you paid with cash. or credit cards.Owners would not removed 3% charge saying it was a mistake which made absolutely no sense.. They will never make it after summer crowds are gone.. Service was unprofessional and had two creepy old guys walking around restaurant directing wait staff.

Modern Americana, from scratch, light-sitting comfort food that evokes a sense of homecoming. Serving local beer and wine.
The pancakes at this unassuming spot on Main Road were phenomenal, among the best my friends and I had ever experienced. Both the buttermilk oat pancakes (we got them with banana and Nutella) and the Grandma's Pancakes are both highly recommended. That being said, every other dish was just okay. Not bad, but not noteworthy either. The eggs in the Breakfast Sandwich were overcooked, one of our omelettes came out with the wrong ingredients, and the Mimosa just tasted like orange juice. The service was friendly, and the ambience was cute. So we'd go back, but only for the pancakes.

We had another delicious dinner at Cafe Crust. Unpretentious in The Hamptons, but fresh, delicious fare! Started out with their Spinach Salad- might have seemed pricey at first, but it was delicious and big enough for two. Had the brick oven-baked Marguerite pie- fresh organic tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, and fresh basil (made the other half with sweet Italian sausage and red roasted peppers! Outdoor dining tonight was perfect- always friendly and accommodating wait staff is a plus.

I couldn't believe the high quality of organic farm-fresh ingredients going into everything served at this Hamptons chain of cafes. Only the best for the rich, huh.As with everything that is of high quality is the high price and the extensive diversity of offerings you don't normally find at any run-of-the-mill cafe. More like a deli/cafe, I saw beef stew in the buffet set-up a little down the counter from the mini-bakery section. Across the way is a small set-up for smoothies and juices, made with farm-fresh organic fruits and vegetables, naturally. Our jelly and chocolate-covered custard donuts were tiny but exquisite in taste, texture. Our South Hampton sunrise juices had tons of fresh flavor. It's the most reasonable place in this small stretch of shops and restaurants.
