Hamont-Achel (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈɦaːmɔnt ˈɑxəl]; Limburgish: Haëmet-Achel) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of Limburg. It was founded in 1977 by a fusion of the city Hamont and the village Achel. On January 1, 2006, Hamont-Achel had a total population of 13,770. The total area is 43.66 km² which gives a population density of 315 inhabitants per km². The municipality houses the Trappist Abbey of Achel, part of which is Brouwerij de Achelse Kluis, one of the 11 Trappist breweries.

Ze hebben veel keuze uit verschillende soorte koffie. Ook hele lekkere speciale koffies. Grote keuze uit thee. De gebakjes die ze hebben zijn heerlijk. En niet te vergeten. Ze hebben ook paar lekkere biertjes.

This is an old farmbuilding that has been rebuild/redecorated in a very good way. Nice ambience. Friendly service. Great outside terrace. Foods are simply good and well served! Large carpark, bicyclepark. Good to start hiking or biking. Recommended!

CafÃ© found per luck.We had a dark Hot chocolate. These were served with 2 Pralines and a creme cake. Pralines and creme cake were marvelous. Chocolate a real one, not a sugar drink. The pot was decorated from the inside with chocolate strips (see picture).Friendly service and nice location.Reasonably priced and hence a clear recommendation.
