We are a licensed cafe, deli and wine shop. We are open for breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea. We are also a venue for private parties, wine tastings etc. We are fully air-conditioned and offer free Wi-Fi, so make a great place to meet business clients.
We moved close to the Cork & Cheese recently, and we've been in a couple of times. The staff are all incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable on their products, the food is lovely and the coffee is good. If we have money left over at the end of the month it's nice to stop by for breakfast. There is usually a newspaper on the table to read, and always someone to chat too. Excellent selection of locally brewed/distilled alcoholic beverages and a fine selection of cheese, olives, meats etc. Thoroughly recommend. Can't wait for their Gin Festival!Thank you so much for taking the trouble to write a review, we really appreciate. We look forward to seeing you again soon, either in the shop or at our Summer Gin and Rum Party.

I visited Miss Ellieâs Café for the first time recently & was impressed by the friendly atmosphere and warm welcome. The menu had enough choices to give many appealing options but not so many that it could not all be freshly cooked.I had sausages, mash & vegetables. When it arrived the presentation was impressive, the quantity rather generous, to say the least and the food excellent. The sausages were succulent, meaty and tasty - unlike some where the cereal content makes it questionable whether they should be served with mustard or marmalade.I was still in the area the next day so dined there again. I was recognised & warmly welcomed back. Some of my fellow diners had been there the previous day, & later arrivals were greeted by name so were obviously regulars - and regulars are always a good sign.I had slow roast lamb shank with mint sauce, gravy, duchesse potatoes & vegetables. The presentation, quantity and quality were as before. The gravy & mint sauce mix was so tasty that I asked for a spoon to scoop up as much as I could. A spoon was provided along with a totally unexpected but welcome offer of some bread & butter to mop up the mix.The jam roly-poly with custard for pudding was to the same excellent standard. The price charged for the quality, presentation & quantity represents the most impressive value I have encountered for years.I have paid a great deal more for smaller helpings of inferior food elsewhere and if in the area again will certainly return to Miss Ellieâs.Wow thank you for a fanatastic review, we are so pleased you enjoyed your meals with us, we have an ever changing menu so hope to see you again when you are next in the area.

One of the best eggs benedict I've had in here, and the breakfasts choice is brilliant. Looking at my friends breakfast it looked lovely. The pricing is excellent value for money too.Staffed by volunteers from the church, the menu and coffees are varied and cooked to order. It takes time when busy, but is well worth the wait. Highly recommended

We visited this busy cafe on May Day monday. We had the half a roast chicken and chips, the chicken was lovely and moist, not dried out like some places and there were loads of chips with the meal. Also had the all day breakfast at £5 which came with two sausages, 2 eggs, 2 bacon, beans and toast, this also tasted goof, only criticism was that they could have used better quality sausages. We followed this with some homemade Dorset apple cake and custard - delicious. Will definitely return if we are in the area.

Visited Warsash to start a job and desperately needed a cuppa. Came across the village bakery, was greeted by a lovely lady who made us feel very welcome. Although a tiny little cafe it was clean and quaint, served everything from a slice of cake, sandwiches, jackets, through to a full English and all very reasonably priced. My partner had a sausage roll and said without a doubt was the best heâd ever tasted. The coffee was also very good.Whilst working in Warsash, if time we will definitely re visit.

A traditional tearoom selling homemade cakes and freshly made sandwiches catering for cream tea and afternoon teas.
Came here with a group of work friends for afternoon tea. Sandwiches and scones were lovely and the cake was delicious! The tables are quite spaced out which was nice as Iâve been to other tearooms where you are all squeezed in together and can barely move. Good atmosphere. Staff were friendly and very attentive. Would recommend to others.

We came across this lovely local cafe by chance today and it's a gem. Staff were friendly and attentive. The food we had tasted home made and was excellent. Goats cheese with caramalised onion quiche is a real treat. Fruit scone tea was as good as it gets. We'll be back when next visiting relatives.

I was waiting for a friend to arrive for a walk and enjoyed a fantastic coffee and beef and horseradish sandwich whilst watching the marina at work. Calming atmosphere with ladies who lunch moxed with marina staff. A great meeting place. Free parking for 30 mins. I stayed for 99 mins and cost me £2. I had taken a circular walk with my friend, small child and buggy on a circular walk south bound through an estate with incredible properties. Definitely do that again.

The food was all freshly home cooked food and the surroundings were very relaxing and inviting. The owner was very welcoming and couldn't do more for us whilst we had lunch. The food is amazing and I will be heading back very soon5*
