whenever we come to the Dallas Fort Worth area we have to stop at the Qt quick trip because they have a variety of things in there we like. Tea selections as well as their hot rollers are great
I bought a Resturant.com gift card to this place. We went over one afternoon for a late lunch. No one was there except owner and his wife., and their 4 year old daughter. Ordered at the counter. Notice on door says Rib Eye with breakfast. I asked could they make the Ribeye into a sandwich? He says yes for 7.99. I'm thinking this ha got to be a tiny little ribeye for 7.99. I don't eat ribeyes but my husband was a meat cutter for 40 years and he said it was one of the best ribeyes he had ever had! Very tender and great taste. One drawback was that when you put it on regular hamburger bun, it doesn't soak up enough juice so it should be on sour dough bread or something. My burger and fries ( enough for 2 people I might add) was juicy and flavorful. The prices are awesome!!

There is something about breakfast in Texas, they know how to do it right. Joe's is a typical local nothing fancy place that the locals flock too. The staff are all friendly and attentive. We even got to experience the waitress who is famous for singing happy birthday in a high pitch screech, she was great. Don't expect anything fancy here, simple decor, dishes and silverware. What you will get here is just plain amazing breakfast food. Eggs, pancakes, waffles, Kansas city hashbrowns, biscuits and gravy...the list goes on. Everything we ordered was just delicious. Absolutely no complaints and when we come back at Christmas you can bet we will be eating here again.

Our party of five had to ask 3 times for tea which was HOT ENOUGH TO DRINK ( never did receive any at the proper temperature!) At a tea room. Also, no Decaf tea on the menu. At a tea room. Food was...okay. But the lukewarm tea and lukewarm service was unforgiveable: Even the manager was lukewarm and unapologetic. Don't waste your time or money on this place...I felt ripped off.

While this diner will probably never make it to "Triple D", it is a fun place decorated straight out of Miami Beach, that serves just plain good, down home, comfort food. They serve breakfast all day, have daily lunch specials, and an attentive wait staff. I had their chopped sirloin plate and was impressed it was fresh ground beef shaped by hand cooked as requested and very tasty as were the side dishes that came with the meal. Their prices are very reasonable and affordable for even those on a budget. I'll be back again soon.

Weekend breakfast at Main Street is a tradition for our family. Kids love the crepes and pancakes. We all love the corned beef hash and eggs. The service is always great. Have had lunch and wasn't impressed so I'll stick with breakfast because it always makes me happy!

I had been here before (lunch wise) and have never been for early morning Sunday Breakfast.I ordered the Denver Omelette along with a side order of coffee and hash browns. Was disappointed when the meal was served as I could see a long hair was on my omelette, I did however let it go and didn't say anything.Would I come back? Probably not.

Bluebonnet Cafe provides restaurant services in the greater Haltom City, TX area.
My first time eating here and I must say the quaint atmosphere adds greatly to the experience. There are at least four different themed eating sections, and I was seated in the Coca Cola section, where every wall is covered in Coke memorabilia. I ordered the Pancake Combo: two large pancakes, one egg and two pieces of bacon. I wanted to taste their "spicy sausage," so I also got a side order of patties. Everything was good. ..not excellent, but a good homey meal. The sausage was noteworthy, in that the flavor was a little unusual....it doesn't taste like store-bought sausage...it tastes farm-fresh, not spicy at all to me, but perhaps a bit too much sage or something I can't quite identify. For me, the highlight of my visit was the other customers. Bluebonnet definitely seems like a favorite hangout for "regulars." Three tables of older men from the farming community sat across from me and, for this Yankee girl recently moved to Texas, they kept me chuckling with their " fixin ' to, " "darn tootin," and " ya'll" sayings. I was enthralled throughout my meal, and I want an accent like that, lol! Bottom line, good breakfast, homey atmosphere and a community favorite.
