A cafe bistro serving fresh, home cooked, locally sourced meals from breakfast, lunch, tea & coffees & homemade cakes - all made on the premises by us.
This is my favourite cooked breakfast in Suffolk (...and we have tried many!). Called in for breakfast and had the full English. The bacon and sausage was delicious, eggs cooked to my taste as requested and the mushrooms were divine. Try the outdoor terrace on a sunny day - very relaxing and a little oasis of calm. The coffee is very good quality and coffee lovers will be super happy. You will not be disappointed if you have breakfast/brunch here.

This little tea room was a lovely surprise. We originally went shopping for an Xmas tree and then decided to have some lunch and what a lovely surprise. My hubby had a ham and cheese toastie and I had the Coronation Chicken sandwich and I have got to say the Chicken sandwich is the best I have ever tasted. Both sandwiches were served with salad which was so fresh and some crisps. The Coronation Chicken was made fresh that morning and full of flavour and no scoping on the portions either, very generous. We had one tea and one coffee which was lovely too. I would definately recommend this tea room which is attached to Emmerdale Farm Shop, in fact we are going to go back there for one their breakfasts. The staff were brilliant, so polite and helpful. Great value for money

Prandium of Southwold provide a very diverse menu. Recently awarded a TripAdvisor certificate of excellence 2019 and being chosen 3rd best restaurant, in Suffolk, by Suffolk business, I feel that two years hard work is starting to pay off. When you visit
A great place that we always visit whenever we go to Southwold (usually twice a year). The food is always good quality and thereâs plenty of it, so go hungry! James is an amusing and attentive host, and this gives Prandium the edge over a lot of the other places in this town. We are really sorry he is moving on, and we will miss visiting this great little place the next time we go. All the best James, hope our paths cross again one day!Like you I'm also sorry to be leaving. Unfortunately landlords have become very greedy, which results in customers taking the Mick. Like the ones who've left the review after yours. Anyway, back to your review. Thanks for visiting again and taking time to leave lovely comments.I will keep everyone informed as to where I'm moving to.Best wishesJames

The Weavers Tearooms is part of the New Inn, a medieval hall-house, used as an Inn around the 15th century for travellers. Today Weavers continues the tradition of providing a welcome stop, offering a full range of excellent homemade fare. Breakfasts, mor
We stayed next door in the New Inn, and found ourselves popping in regularly for tea and cake, or scone. The cakes were of a very high standard and all that we tried were delicious. The cream tea was my favourite and my wife tried the Victoria sponge more than once. It was all very reasonably priced too.

Food is really really tasty, service very friendly and efficient, and if it is nice enough to eat outside, there is a lovely little outdoor sitting area.We go there regularly, at least once a month, especially for brunch on Sundays. Best to book in advance, especially for lunch at the weekends, as it does get pretty booked up and it is not very big!Never tried it for dinner though.Would definitely recomment!

Edwards is a small family run eatery right in the middle of Halesworth, serving traditional homemade lunches cakes and pastries all food is made fresh on the premises, we offer a large selection of Gluten Free and free wifi. We also have a alcohol licence
Unable to book for Sunday 4th August as Edwards was closed (Karen's birthday), we had to wait another week for our favourite roast. Well worth the wait. Tender beef and succulent chicken with plentiful tasty veg (don't forget the cauliflower cheese). The better half managed 2 scoops of coffee ice cream and ordered a dessert (can't remember if it was cheesecake or meringue) to take away, intending to eat it in the evening. It was gone as soon as we got home! Excellent value for the best roast in Halesworth (maybe Suffolk?)
