Wanted a cofee and they didn't served us.After walking around the very small town af Ashmyany we wanred a cofee and there aren't many options.This cafe is from the few and centrally located.But when we entered and asked for few cofees (even takeaway) they said they can't as they were preparing the tables for lunch time and other excuses as the cofee machine isn't opened etc.There were at least 3 persons as staff though.

I am glad I discovered this place! It is conveniently located near a train station and a center of Grodno. If you travel with kids, the Zhilber's park with a bunch of attractions is nearby, too. The atmosphere is very cozy, service is prompt and polite. They offer potato pancakes with cheese, fish, turkey, chicken, pierogi (or you may call them dumplings), and waffles. Our big crowd tried them all and everything was fresh, delicious and authentic. For dessert, we had an icecream. Oh, and don't forget to have a sip of wine! We had an unforgettable Georgian wine but there is a quiet selection of different beverages, too. But besides good food and service, you literally can "touch the history" there. According to locals who lived in Grodno during and right after WW2, in grocery stores were built small windows through which people received soap, flour or bread, only one item, and this restaurant has this exact window!!! So, it is worth to check this place out even just to see that saved piece of history. Enjoy!O! Thank You Very Much

I liked that place. We went there with friend, drank coffee with cheesecake. Coffee was good, dessert - too. The music was nice and girls-waitresses - too. What do we need more for a good calm evening?

This café is just across from the Unesco World heritage Castle of Mir and provdes a welcome lunch time meal. The cold borscht and potato pancakes were very nice.
