Just had our Brunch here at daisyâs cafe. The place was packed but we got served quickly and the wait for the food didnt took long We had a large breakfast and tuna n cheese jacket potato. The breakfast was great, cooked well and not too greasy. The jacket potato was cooked perfectly and the salad was well dressed. Overall a good place to stop for tea and coffee or a quick bite.

Our family arrived here with hungry bellies. We were welcomed with large smiles and a free glass and cucumber and mint water (delicious). The food arrived quickly and for what we paid was great value for money. The sourdough bread was heavenly and my partner said his black pudding was the best he ever had. We're so glad we came here and the food was spot in. Also, a big thank you to the bearded gentleman who works here. After we left he ran after us to give my husband his Ray Bans, which he had left on the table. We come to Ambleside 3-4 times a year and we will definitely return to Kysty!

We open our doors at 10am and serve homemade food. We stop serving savoury hot food at 3.30pm to allow us time to prep for the following day. We do still serve teas, coffees and cakes until 4.00pm. Please do come and visit and fill your hungry tummies!
Popped in for a drink and cake which was excellent, loose leaf tea and decent coffee and a brownie to die for, all the food looked great and dog friendly too. Would definitely recommend and return.

The Grasmere Tea Gardens provides a lovely respite after a long walk up the fells, or a quick enjoyable stop over for diverse coach parties. We offer an array of homemade soups, sandwiches, paninis, chilli, and jacket potatoes, as well as home baked cakes
We enjoyed a lovely cup of coffee relaxing on the terrace next to the River Rothay which runs through the village of Grasmere and overlooking the churchyard where William Wordsworth is buried. Grasmere is a very popular village with tourists and this cafe gets very busy indeed. However, the staff were doing a magnificent job of keeping the queue moving and tables cleared. There are toilets, but be prepared to wait!

A charming, fully licensed cafe in the heart of the picturesque village of Grasmere. All ingredients are locally sourced and our delicious cakes are a speciality. We stock a great selection of locally brewed ales. A warm welcome awaits. We are also dog fr
I would certainly prefer that staff serving food refrained from stoking dogs visiting the premises. I am sure the staff will go and wash their hands afterwards but whilst I like the personal engagement I think the action can give rise to a negative feeling.

Wow this is a classy cafe and bistro. The food is homemade, ingredients are the best, just perfect. Itâs difficult to choose what to eat as you could eat everything. Service is excellent. I highly recommend this cafe. Karen is also available for outside catering also at your rented accommodation.
