We visited Delaneys for brunch today. They were very busy both in house and take away, but luckily there was one free table. Excellent meal of porridge followed by generous crispy bacon and cheese on very good bread. Friendly and efficient staff and fair prices with a huge choice range of both hot and cold options. We had not been in for some time, but our next visit will be much sooner, a very enjoyable experience.

We have visited this place on many occasions and the food and service have always been excellent. However having visited with family a few weeks ago the menu had been changed and choice of food was limited and the whole place was scruffy and could have done with a good clean.Hi,Thank you for your review, however as the manager/owner I am very saddened to read your review. I am sorry that you thought the café looked scruffy and needed a clean, this comes as surprise to me as we take a huge amount of pride in ensuring the place is clean and tidy, as our attention to detail is something we pride ourselves on, along with the quality of food & customer service. I note your comment about the menu being reduced and the choice of food is limited, this is also surprising as we have not changed the content of our menu for about 18 months all we have done is change the design & the layout, so I apologise if it has come across that it has been reduced.I do hope this has not put you off coming, as like you said you have visited on many occasions so can only assume this was a one off occasion you were dissatisfied, so I really do apologise. Many thanksKatie

Came across this place on line. The bratwurst with crackling and apple sauces looked great online, made the journey there.Greeted by a chirpy polite lady and shown table. Server came over to take order, I asked for above as not on printed menu and she said website is out of date... An out of date website.!!!Server was very miserable, second server was even more stroppy when I asked her to change the glass given to me with lipstick on. Food was OK but joy work £25 for 2 coffee, cheese and onion sandwich and a bowl of pea soup. The majority of staff here were miserable and appeared to not want to be there at all. Customers were an inconvenience to them. Will not bother wasting my time or money on this place again.

Popped in for a bite to eat after a disappointing pint in the Still and West. Always carry cash so did not worry whether card machine not working (see review below). Chose a ham and cheese sandwich. The sandwich was large, well filled and with salad and dreamy, creamy coleslaw. The crusty bread was lovely and soft in the middle. The service was excellent.

Family run, traditional English cafe serving fresh home cooked food, with a view to providing meat, vegetarian and vegan options.
We had a large full english with blk pudd and mushrooms added and a small vegan, coffee and a kickstart juice. It was really busy and we were forwarned of a 40 min wait, but it was worth it. Our drinks were brought to us almost immediately. The cafe has about 34 seats inc 3 x 2 seat tables outside. Everything was well cooked and girlfriend said it was THE best vegan breakfast she'd ever had! Staff maybe young but are very efficient in table clearing and keeping the very busy cafe clean and customers happy. Definitely reccomend.
