The staff is friendly & polite. This cafe & bar is walking distance from the Carrington Court Apartments, Gold Coast. Our takeaway was toasted sandwiches which were very nice & enough ingredients. Our coffee was also very nice, were I would normally have 1/2 strength, there coffee was not strong.

We often go here for breakfast on the weekends. We have tried other places in Burleigh, Palmy and Broadbeach but always find ourselves back at the Pantry. We are always greeted with a smile, the food is served quickly and there is no shortage of choice. We rate the coffee as one of the best on the coast too. Great service with a smile, excellent food and awesome coffee, if this place doesnt satisfy you nothing will. Why go and stand in line with the other wood ducks over the road for crap coffee and ordinary service when you can be served at a table by friendly happy people. Its ok your phone will work from here too so you can still take your selfies.

Just love this Eatery for morning tea, great coffee, delicious cakes and friendly service. Different waiting staff this year but just as attentive and so helpful with providing a great dining experience for toddlers and adults alike. Look forward to having lunch there on our next visit.

The Cardamom PodA wonderful vegetarian restaurant hidden in broadbeach, with a wonderful buffet selection of vegetarian and vegan food, as well as smoothies and yummy deserts. We had a wonderful selection of hot food from the buffet and yummy tasty salads. I loved that we could pick from a variety of options and they were all served up in their own dishes and bowls so great for sharing. We enjoyed the vegan moussaka, curries & yummy sharing dishes. We not only enjoyed the taste and quality of the food, but we also found the food to be of great value and price for the quality and size of the meals. My friend got the last tiramisu cake and went back a few times to get it again and l cant wait to try it myself. The food is super fresh and super tasty, we are not big vegetarian eaters however we will certainly be back and can't wait to try more options and combos.

Another visit to Avvia and as per usual the atmosphere, staff service and food was amazing. Not often do you find consistency of this kind I'm restaurants. Perhaps it's because they pride themselves on ensuring a dining "experience" above all else. Started with prawn dumplings, then we shared the lamb and prawn gnocchi. Finished with chocolate souffle. We accompanied our meal with a beautiful bottle of Syrah. Every dish was cooked to perfection. Do yourself a favour and give Avvia a visit.Meagan, thanks for leaving such a wonderful review. Wow! Whatâs not to love. Recommended by a friend and now a MUST spot every time we visit the Gold Coast. Delicious meals and coffee but we loved the decor the atmosphere and the unique touches everywhere. Especially the pet snake and Drew the parrot. Quirky and amazing. Super staff too. I was staying in an apartment at Mermaid beach. Because of my late arrival, and jet lag, I couldn't sleep. Got up very early to walk on the beach and watch the sun come up, then wandered around looking for some breakfast. Found this place. It wasn't due to open for another 45 minutes, but the menu looked good, so I sat at one of their outdoor tables, reading my book until teh staff started to arrive. I explained that I was waiting for breakfast, and as soon as they were open, one of the waiting staff came over, to ask me which table I would like, and was very solicitous in making sure that I had everything that I needed.They made me an excellent omelette, and some very good sourdough toast, and a big pot of tea. It was all delicious. I returned another morning, and had a slightly customised version of their eggs benedict. On both occasions the staff could not have been better, the food was very good indeed, and if I'm ever back over there, I shall have breakfast there again. Highly recommended. (They do take-out and fresh baked goods too).

Had lunch with my wife and our friend.Firstly amazing service the waitress was at our table with menus and drink orders instantly and very friendly and happy.We ordered the beetroot salad and two crusted salmon.The salmon was amazing perfectly cooked with amazing flavour, the beetroot salad was perfect very fresh and flavoursome.We are here on a short trip but will be back in again before we go such a great little spot !Keep up the great work guys.
