They serve great Devonshire teas and also nice tea and coffee but wander around the dining room and you will find some fascinating artefacts.Warm cheerful welcome from the proprietor and quick service. Well worth a visit if you're going to the museum in Glenrowan.

Quick stop off for drinks and delicious ice cream. Lovely selection of food and drinks. Nice quiet venue with good views of the wetlands. We enjoyed the flying fox and scenery. Child friendly. Not sure if bike hire (electric would be a bonus) is available at the hub, but it would be a great way to explore the wetlands and art.
Caths cafe is a nice friendly that serves lovely food and coffee. Had gluten free options and lovely fresh homemade cakes
Okay, I try not to gave harsh reviews unless they are required. If I feel things are below average I try to give some constructive criticism, so I hope that the owners donât take my review to heart. So, we attended Glenrowen for lunch on the drive back from Melbourne. We attended Cathâs Cafe in the main street.I am not sure if ownership is being handed over or the staff were new on the day but the food was average at best.I had the fish and chips and the chips were nice (hard to stuff a hot chip) but the fish was soaked through with oil and very unpleasant to eat. My son ordered a hamburger and it look like something cook at home on a budgetâ¦. Mainly because it has the processed âplastic cheeseâ, not even real cheese! I just feel if youâre a cafe you need to provide slightly better food. Now, if this is the cafe niche and it works then so be it but for us, we werenât impressed. We paid $54 and I was extremely disappointed and underwhelmed and I feel ripped off for what we paid and what we got.I also understand that is a small country town working to a budget but this cafe is not for me.In saying that the two staff who were there, were more than pleasant and friendly. The cafe is in a great location⦠with better produce, menu and cooking this place could be a gold mine.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch on Monday. We sat outside in a quiet setting. The owners are so friendly, good charachters and provide healthy food at a very good price. There is a specials board along with their regular menu. The beetroot salad was a very good size and so tasty. I would also recommend the tasting plate. Others ate the fettucini, pork cheek, pizza and flourless chocolate cake which was a very big serve and delicious. Also try the home made Wagon Wheels and the home made pear and chilli cutney and eggplant chutney are a must to buy and take home. Will definately be back.
