There are two restaurants at the Alderbrook Golf Course - the upscale KOKO restaurant and Dan's Den - the pub style eatery. These are housed in the newly constructed country style club house with amazing bathrooms. Like many golf course restaurants they are not located right on the main highway but the drive is often worth the bother. After playing a round a golf we stopped for lunch at Dan's Dan. We were thrilled with the service - attentive and friendly even while serving multiple customers and attending to the bar. There is the lounge area as well as an outdoor patio. The food was great. Would highly recommend the sliders.

The fresh food here is cooked to order which is always the best. Great seafood, pulled pork, tacos, and clams. The coffee is great as well. The service is good. Just a small place, no reservations, first come first served. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Moderately priced.

We were staying at a nearby campground and the name Grumpyâs lured us in. Itâs small and casual with a kite theme. Most of the menu items are prepared fresh. My husband opted for the chicken fried steak while I ordered the Fish and Chips. We were both pleased with our meals.

Almost hidden anyway, the place looked tacked onto the grocery store and off the main drag. Also small, probably 15-20 seats max. Well worth your effort to find, everything looks fresh and homemade, the pancakes were huge and the sourdough breakfast sandwich was top notch and clearly made with a hand formed sausage patty not some premade patty. If you need a good start to the day this is it.

My other half and I came here for breakfast and it was fantastic! Great outdoor seating, prompt service and excellent food! We both got the Seafood Oscar omelet with fresh crab and shrimp. The hollandaise sauce was perfect and I highly recommend the gravy for the warm biscuit. Thank you for a great visit!

Had dinner here, spouse had turkey dinner and I had the Southern Fired chicken which there was only 2 orders left. Tina our waitress made it an enjoyable evening. If you there, ask for Tina and let her know you reservations (whether you have one or not) and watch her reaction.
