We didnât really want to eat in the square opposite the church but found this unorthodox place in the alleyway right next door. As there were three of us it seemed natural to have a sharing platter. The vegetarian platter covered all of our desires. Everything that couldâve been, was homemade with the proletariatâs very own hands. It took a short while coming out to our table but was well worth the wait. We also had each a very tasty homemade lemonade. Definitely a place to remember for our next visit.

Cafe is at beginning of main village thoroughfare (Calle Real) and has a pleasant outside seating area across the road on Plaza del Ingenio (which is where we sat). Great location with views down towards sea and up along Calle Real but thatâs about it - service was so slow that customers were leaving in frustration - not sure of the problem as it wasnât exactly busy. When we did get the waitresses attention and asked for a menu, she came out twice forgetting. In the end we just had drinks as the menu was very basic (see my pic). Real shame as itâs such a nice spot and only gets a reasonable score on basis of location.
