On a business trip here, and friends had highly recommended this restaurant. I ordered carry out, since it was late in the evening and I wanted something light. I specifically asked the gal taking my order whether they added hot sauce to their house made guacamole, as I did not want anything spicy. She laughed and assured me they did not. Well, clearly she has not eaten their guacamole - it was quite spicy, much to my dismay, and I was unable to eat it. I also ordered the tomato basil soup, which was good. Nothing offered with it - no crackers, no bread, nothing. I was surprised at the slim portions - both the guacamole and the soup were served in good sized containers that were not quite half filled. When I paid, it seems like a lot of money for two items - until I got back to my room and looked up the online menu again, and realized that the prices shown online were considerably less than what I paid.So would I go back? Probably not. There are plenty of places to eat in Franklin, and this meal did not instill confidence that I could trust an employee's description of a meal, nor trust that I would be charged the prices publicly listed on their own website. Very disappointed - nope - I won't be back.

I usually avoid writing negative reviews, but my experience here was so bad I just have to share. From the lackluster "greeting" by the man behind the counter, to the clearly overwhelmed single waitress who showed no enthusiasm for her job, I only wish we had never stopped here. My chicken-salad croissant was terrible. The bread was so dry and tough it was hard to chew, the chicken salad was pitiful and there was little more than a teaspoon full on the entire sandwich. The salad I received had tired, wilted lettuce and a very uninspired poppy seed dressing. We observed other patrons sending food back due to being inedible. At least the waitress removed an overcharge from my check without argument. That was the best part of the meal.
Best Comfort Food in Franklin. combined with vegan and gluten free. Breakfast Buffet $10 every Saturday & Sunday from 8-1.
We were expecting a good place for breakfast and heard good reports on the above location. Both of our meals were very good(eggs benedict&omlet). My wife asked if she could have some fruit instead of potatoes(9 and no mention of extra charge) and I was asked what toast I wanted(again no mention of extra charge). The fruit was $4.00 extra and my toast was $2.00 extra. I have never been charged $1.00 per slice of toast, always thought toast was included for breakfast. So be sure to ASK BEFORE saying anything.
