Things to do in Fountain Valley
Stopped in to enjoy a light breakfast, cup of tea and some quiet time to read a book. The dining room is bright, cheery, clean and welcoming. Cafe n Te is a French/Vietnamese cafe. They have a fantastic choice for tea, along with Vietnamese coffee and other choices too. The food selection is excellent. I ordered a cup of the Chai Xiang, which is the decaf chai tea with a side of milk. The Quiche Lorraine is excellent as well. The portions are perfect and the food is hot, fresh and full of flavor. The service was great, the staff is very friendly and will help you navigate some of the Vietnamese dishes if you don't know quite what they are.The pastries are very fresh. The croissants lovely and flaky.Cafe and Te is located in the shopping center behind Sizzler. They offer indoor seating as well as a nice sized patio. This is now one of my favorites for tea and breakfast.

Fresh & delicious breakfast, lunch, dinner & catering, we're dedicated to keeping you happy in your Corner of the world.
This is a great place to meet friends. Nice atmosphere inside with booths and tables and a small area to sit outside. Great variety of food and the idea is great, food used to be great, but slowly the quality is declining. Drink options are great and the kids meal is pretty great too. Staff is very friendly, but on my last few times, I haven't left with a great feeling. A little more attention to the food and orders would make a big difference. My hubby's biggest pet peeve is that the soup, although very tasty, does not come out hot. Hoping that they can bring it back to excellent level!

We stopped in for breakfast and were not disappointed. Generous omelets and huge homemade biscuits. We noticed several daily specials listed as well as dinner specials. Several classics such as Liver and Onions and Corned Beef and Cabbage. A selection of steaks were also offered. Friendly service and a clean and relaxing atmosphere. Plenty of free off street parking and freeway close (I-405).

Paderia Bakery is a cute little bakery, with their Grand Opening coming on Saturday, April 29, 2017. They are currently doing their soft opening. I have to say, I'm so glad they are open in our town. Their specialties are Malasadas, a Portuguese donut. Soft and airy donuts dusted with sugar. They offer a coconut cream filled malasadas, nutella filled, a plain or cinnamon. The coconut and nutella are fantastic. They have Ensaymada's, they are spiral rolled brioche with sugar. I didn't have the banana pudding, but it looked amazing. It is a light custard with banana and a wafer type cookie. They offer 4 different types of cookies, a dark chocolate walnut cookie, blueberry coconut and pecan cookie, peanut butter chocolate and oatmeal.Paderia serves house coffee, a cold brew coffee and a Vietnamese iced coffee and 4 types of tea.You will find plenty of parking as it is located in a shopping center with plenty of spots.I will go back, it was scrumptious.

You can't beat the location and ambiance by dining on the sidewalk and watching the classic cars drive by. The staff is great here but the food needs some improvement. We ordered the veggie omelet, sour dough bread, and raisin bread french toast. I can judge food by my first bite and the food just wasn't fabulous here. It wasn't terrible it just wasn't delicious.

Food was great, and you get a lot for the price which is reasonable. Had seen this on a TV so when we made a day trip, came for breakfast and enjoyed the food, and the pictures on the walls. Service was top notch as well!
