We stopped in at the West Cornwall Pasty Company for a pasty and we were pleasantly surprised to discover that the pasties were wonderful. The nice thing about this restaurant is that if you wait until late afternoon, the pasties are greatly reduced in price. If you like pasties, I encourage you to try this place.Thank you very much for your kind compliment Bernadette P. We look forward to you visiting us again soon. Well welcome to Bite Cafe. At Bite Cafe we like to eat well and we are serving traditional British classic, homemade Cafe food. We have a new addition to our great menu: Burrito! You can eat in or take out. Bite Cafe is perfect to catch up with friends, r
Iâve been a regular customer for over 4 years, today my partner and I head down to Bite for a nice breakfast. Well, that was a disaster! The places looked dirty, service took about 25 minutes, we were alone in the cafe! Breakfast was DISGUSTING, cold and over cooked scramble. Iâve kindly ask one of the guy to change my breakfast or heat up a little bit, and change my egg for fried, the second attempt was worse then the first. FRIED EGG WAS RAW! Told the âmanagerâ I was ok with no food and Iâll take a tea instead. He âapologiseâ, in his own ârudeâ way, telling me heâs gonna fire the chef. Well maybe you should re-train the chef instead? To make the story short, he took the bill over to the table saying he removed the drinks for us.I didnât touch any of my two breakfast! So I wasnât happy to pay for it.My partner eat his so he was happy to pay for his.So once again, I kindly thanked him for taking the drinks off the bill and told himI wasnât happy to pay for my breakfast. He completely change his attitude. Saying he will then put the drinks back on the bill.Well I was shocked. This meant to be a friendly cafe?!At the end he slammed some pots on the table next to us and say somethings.I was already so fed up and still hungry! My partner went inside to settle the bill and then the manager told him âitâs on me, just go!âOk this is it! From us this place wonât receive a penny anymore. What a shame the previous owner and team has left. I canât see this cafe been open for much longer.NOT RECOMMENDED ANYMORE!Dear theredparmigiana I am so sorry that you felt this way on leaving Bite Cafe. As I tried to explain yesterday I only arrived back at the cafe after your complaint and was simply trying to establish what the concern was so I could make it right. The chefs have not changed so the food should still be to the standard that you have come to expect and as we obviously failed you yesterday I comped all the food and drink as a gesture of goodwill. I remember apologising again to your partner and simply saying not to worry it was on me, if this came across as anything other than sympathetic I again apologise as I donât think Iâve ever knowingly been rude to a customer. I value everyoneâs feedback and take it all on board to improve our service. If you wish to come in for another tea and to talk it over further I would greatly appreciate it.Hope to see you again Richard

Traditional English food
Lovely environment on a quiet street in Windsor. Looked like a perfect place for breakfast. Attentive service. Good coffee. Just let down by the very average breakfast.

Windsor's local cafe. Where the locals go!
Yesterday I rode from Islington to the Cinnamon cafe in Windsor. To be fair I didn't cycles 75 miles just to goto the cafe but it was a very welcome stop after the first half of the journey. The owner and staff just seem to understand what people want. You want good cakes, good coffee, good service and if you get a smile then that is a bonus. You get this all at this great cafe. It is sad that other places don't get it but here they do. They have thought through processes to make the whole experince of ordering, paying and receiving as painless as possible. It doesn't sound much but it is like a well oiled machine. In fact, I think that someone had done a six sigma project on them (or should do).In addition they provide racks for bikes, a track pump if you need it and a bottle refill with a smile. Thanks so much
