Vinyl benches, trad menu, reminds my 88 year old mum of the old days, slice of Borehamwood life. Nice to park my wheelchair outside.

An independently owned friendly little cafe in the heart of Bushey Village situated between The Red Lion & Mavis Wool Shop. We welcome children and dogs and love to watch them draw on our mini chalk boards and display them for others to see (not the dogs
i discovered this absolute gem of a cafe by accident but SO glad i did. It is so rare now to find a QUALITY cafe with great food and service these days amongst the sea of foreign owned greasy spoons.i had one of the best vegetarian breakfasts i have ever had...everything here is quality from local free range eggs to proper Heinz beans, tomato and HP sauce.. You can literally have your breakfast how you want it and nothing iws too much trouble,,,,in fact it felt like i had gone to a family members for breakfast! Tess and all her staff are wonderfully friendly and accomodating, i am writing this review after my 4rd visit so i know it wasn't a fluke! This is now my favourite place for breakfast by far and i could not recommend it enough!Damian! Thanks for such a lovely review! You are very welcome and I'm guessing you are the lovely polite smiley chap who has recently become a great new customer :)So appreciate your time in reviewing our little independent cafe - just as we appreciate others who do the same. It is so important to us, particularly in the way businesses are now honestly and independently reviewed.I really hope we continue to fulfil your needs,Tess and the team x

Vegetarian / Vegan Israeli / MiddleEastern: Falafel Shakshouka Sabich Daily Specials Borekas Eat in or Take Out "I go here EVERYDAY for lunch. Says it all I guess" "OMG the best ever falafel in north London! Seriously tasty! Fresh ingredients, made right
Went for the first time, with a colleague from work, for lunch recently, we both had the falafel in pitta. Excellent, fresh, and tasty, with plenty of salad. The best Falafel I have tasted in a long while. Was so good, we went back a few days later for more! You can call ahead and place your order to save time. The staff are very friendly, food is excellent. Will definitely become one of our regular lunchtime spots from now on.Dear Bindesh M,I am so very pleased to hear that you enjoyed my Falafel ! We make sure all our ingredients are fresh and that the Falafel is ONLY made to order hence it keeps its moisture and crispiness. Always call ahead and we can have your order ready for you on your arrival. Pop in to the shop and ask for Rachel, it would be nice to meet you and to get to know our regulars.

A casual, family friendly restaurant with a wide variety of meals. Has a great view and great staff.
16 of us came to watch my daughter for her flying lesson. Sunday afternoon. Layout is poor, you have to queue through dinners sitting and eating, service is very slow, 2pm in the afternoon and they only do full main meals which is ridiculous considering you have to sit outside on benches especially when you have children with you.We tried to bring the buggy in with our 1 year old merely to order coffee and was told we couldnât come in in the rudest manner as it was too busy. They clearly donât need the business - and they wonât get ours again! I could not recommend this place at all, especially for families. Do yourself a favour and take a picnic!

Have eaten here a few times now and it's a pleasant place that gets very busy around lunchtime. I normally go around 12 for their sesame bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon which is delicious. They also serve all day breakfast, good pastries and cakes and a variety of sandwiches and baked potatoes.Be warned though that between 1230 and 2 it's both packed and noisy.Free newspapers whilst you are waiting to eat are next to the till if you are lucky enough to get one to read. This is a good casual place to eat with few frills and is reasonably priced. Waitresses are efficient and caring.Nice to see a cafe thriving amongst the chains of coffee shops in high streets and I will continue to go there.

We called in here on our way to Wembley on Sunday 5th August to watch Manchester City, we were staying at the Ibis in Borehamwwod. The breakfasts are amazing, fresh, hot and well cooked, great value as well. The owner is very friendly and made us feel welcome. All the staff were pleasant and the places itself is nice and clean. We called in again on Monday 6th before we set off back to Manchester. Well worth a visit.

WE wandered into Borehamwook hoping ot find somewhere for a quick coffe before we set off on long sectin of london Loop walk, Fund this palce and were sotaken witht he menu we ordered coffee and cakes for our elevensesand then take away sandwiches to eat later. Fantastic bagels cooked on the premsises but therew was a much wider choice of home baked breads. The fillings too all seemed home made and of great quaiity. All very reasonably priced. Comfortable seating and loads of characters wandering in and out. Strongly recommend this for breakfast and lunch.

For a cafe, the menu is extensive from the usual breakfast staples, sandwiches, panini to burgers, pastas and a la carte. The food was very good for the price so itâs definitely decent value for money. They only accept cash so come prepared. Whilst busy is good for business, being crammed so close to other tables was quite awkward. Service was also a bit slow but I guess thatâs understandable.
