Coming back from St Andrews we dropped in for a spot of lunch.friendly waitress service the food did not take long to come to the table quite a busy wee cafe with about half the tables taken and a constant stream of carry out customers. The place is well lit and spotless . The prices are good and wont affect your wallet to much.

Cosy vintage tea room in anstruther Great views if the sea front Sit in or take away. Gluten, vegan, products Home baked scones and sponge cake Freshly made sandwiches Toasties Flavoured teas Cold drinks
I've been craving an authentic scone since coming to Scotland and the ones at the Vintage Tea Room are delicious! They come with clotted cream, which most places don't seem to have and make scones even better! The prices wet very reasonable and the staff was charming! The decor and teacup selection was very cute! Thanks for visiting our vintage tea room and glad you enjoyed your visit

Visited with our granddaughter and as weather was typical July drizzle wanted to sit in for fish tea. The Wee Chippy was recommended previously but we did not realise if you go up the close they have a sit in cafe to the rear. Olivia served us and we opted for the high tea. The fish was excellent and the chips were not greasy but wonderfully crisp and fluffy inside. Pot of tea was topped up - plenty of bread and butter and when cakes and scones were delivered we were full so Olivia put them in a box for us to take away. Dawn the owner was very friendly and we will definitely go back.

Vintage Tea Room in the heart of the East Neuk of Fife. Serving traditional afternoon teas, the way Granny used to. Quaint little tea room, vintage in fashion, with a little twist. Located on Fife's Coastal Path. Menu includes vegan, gluten free & vegetar
Stopped here while visiting Anstruther...most food places we had seen were seafood or main meal lunches which we did not fancy. This cafe is quaint and so welcoming. We ordered toasties which were served with crisps and our cups of tea came with free biscuits...a lovely gesture. One of us had gluten free which must say was made with such lovely bread...and also were given some free gf biscuits! Big well done to the young girls who were running the cafe as they were so friendly and very attentive. This place is a must to visit for anyone down that way!10/10

Most farm shop cafes Iâve been to are expensive, this is not. looking at the menu the full breakfast was £4.50!! (last place I went was £8.90) and 90p per item if you didnât want the works or wanted double of something! WowI ordered fried egg, sausage and black pudding. My other half had the lentil soup and a sandwich ( his only gripe was that this deal didnât come with the salad a crisps) We really didnât wait long for the food to arrive even though the cafe was really busy. There was lots of staff which helped it run smoothly. The food was really good. The toast was warm and a good colour and the egg was nice and runny. The soup was nice and tasty too. We also opted to have a bit of traybake and with a tea and juice out total cost was £15Very well priced If we are in the area again we would come back. Pity itâs closed on a Sunday

as well as the cafe they have a cheese making area to view - "Anster" is the name of the cheese. Great cafe.
On previous visits had enjoyed good quality food and service unfortunately this time was a poor reflection of that.Staff were rude and ignored us in arrival, counter service again without a smile or greeting. Cakes on display looked like they'd been there a while so we stuck to drinks only. Milkshake was nice but had no promised ice cream in it, tea was lovely, leaf tea in pot with fabulous little milk churn for fresh milk.Goods on display in deli were nice, cheeses looked good but not appealing due to offhand manner of staff

Where to eat Seafood food in Elie: The Best Restaurants and Bars
The Mirador Cafe and Takeaway at Elie Holiday Park serves some of the very best barista coffee in the East Neuk of Fife together with tasty pastries, home baking and top notch takeaway favourites. There are hot breakfast choices too and a light bites menu
I liked the fittings, furniture and food! Mirador offer a take-away breakfast for a fiver, which looked like very good value, but I'd already had mine!Excellent coffee and a pleasant young waitress. This, and the more up-market (next door)restaurant do the popular caravan park proud. It's a winding road down to it, but very welcoming!

We can highly recommend this cafe/restaurant for its great food, excellent service and a pleasant outlook over the local sports ground. The young guys serving at the bar and the tables were particularly friendly, courteous and efficient.Good value for money too.
