I suspect this place is run on a shoe-string as the dining area is barely decorated and looked run-down. The radio in the corner was not tuned properly so had static. Counter service was friendly but why do these places always include suggested tips when you sign. Counter service doesn't warrant tips. Clam chowder was good but used gum thickeners. Clean restroom.

I arrived shortly before noon on a Monday and was expecting a massive line. I was about 5th and it was an 8 minute wait. The counter person was unhurried and unperturbed about the line. Each person got the service they deserved. There were plenty of tables inside and out. There is wifi available inside and I was told outside as well. I did have to keep on signing in if I switched over to a different window. The noise level was medium and there were a number of single people working on their computers. The meal was delivered to my table within 10 minutes and it was delicious.I got the falafel plate without the warm flatbread. I avoid wheat. The plate was set up to eat with the bread - sliced tomatoes, sliced onions, sprouts, 5 falafels (about 1.5" diameter) and a lightly dressed green salad with grated carrots. The falafels were a bit dry but with the tahini sauce they were delicious. The meal was filling for me and worth the $10 I paid for it.

Each morning we wake up impossibly early to start baking our ingredient driven treats from scratch. We source from local and/or organic farms when possible and bake fresh each and every day. Get here at the right time and things will still be warm.
Since I reviewed Tart two years ago, I've tried some of the other local bakeries (also good) like Bread Euphoria and The Hungry Ghost. Tart is still my hands-down favorite. You still have to come early to get the best selection (especially those chocolate croissants). Just call ahead to see if what you want is out of the oven yet as I did this morning. I have a real "thing" for their olive ciabatta bread-- it's just amazing. And I learned this morning that you can freeze them (they even gave me a plastic bag for the freezer). Their prices are better than the others- my olive bread was $4.25- and so wonderful. Stop in for a coffee, a pastry, and then take some bread or rolls home. Super friendly and knowledgable staff. Don't miss them!

Crepes for breakfast, crepes for lunch, crepes for dinner.... that could be my wife's menu for the day and Mosaic supplies them all. Superb baguettes for breakfast. Very nice pastry selection. The goat stew was amazing.... I counted more than a dozen different veggies and extras in a wonderfully savory stew with lemon, olives, and more. Delicious.

Haymarket café is one of my favourite places to grab a quick bite in Northampton. they have a wide variety of vegetarian and vegan options. Their vegan and veggie breakfast burritos are quite filling and flavourful. I love their vegan chocolate and peanut butter cake - it is so delectable. The pasta capperi and sambar soup are also reliably tasty and filling. They have a large assortment of vegan desserts / snacks / bars that are quite delicious. The mocha coffee is excellent. I love the fact that they also use their tips to serve meals to those in need. The only down-side is the atmosphere/ambience is a bit dark and grungy.

What a lovely place, offering an enticing selection of delicious teas, expertly prepared and carefully served. With the design and decor, you have a choice of sitting at a cafe table, or barefoot on a cushion in a private or semi-private booth. The cafe serves a selection of bites, suitable for a light lunch or shared as a snack. And baked goods from local baked goods. The last few times I was there, the service staff were a bit distracted and slightly rambunctious which had an effect on one of the reasons I choose Dobra Tea: the atmosphere.

America's favorite all-day, everyday stop for coffee, espresso, breakfast sandwiches and donuts. Stop by or order ahead with the Dunkin' App.
I had just pulled into town and needed to get some coffee as I had been up all night. I went to the local DD and got a donut and coffee. Average service and the donut and coffee were good, just like at every other location.

I ate here with family while touring colleges. I had the merguez (spicy lamb sausage) tagine which came in a traditional earthenware tagine. Also had falafel appetizer. Really flavorful and delicious and I had plenty leftover. I would definitely come here again, to try more.

An early morning errand brought me to Northampton. After that mission was completed I asked a local police officer for the best coffee shop that was not a chain. (Who better?) He immediately responded, "Sylvester's," and his partner nodded in agreement. Easy to find. No problems parking on a Sunday morning. Attentive staff, with a sense of humor--during a hectic morning rush--which gets double points from me. Wonderfully flavorful, fresh coffee. And, Oh my! the raspberry pop tart was sweet and juicy and try as I might I was unable to eat it slowly. On my next trip I will arrive earlier and have breakfast. I recommend you do the same, but do as I suggest, and go early--bring an appetite.
