This is one of those places that's the best of both worlds. You get to experience walking the paths of a beautiful historic property, followed by dining on the porch of an early 1900's estate, overlooking the Connetquot River. What the Hidden Oak Cafe has to offer, is the perfect fit for this setting. It's menu is not "seasonal". If you love the Gorgonzola salad, it will be there, whether you visit in April or October. Their daily specials consist of a soup, quiche and sandwich. I must admit, I tend to favor the salads, the Greek, and the Gorgonzola, being my favorites, and some of their sandwiches. The egg salad on pumpernickel is very tasty, as is their roast beef with brie and horseradish mayonnaise on whole wheat. You order your food and give them your name, pick a lovely table either on the porch, or inside and your food is delivered within 10 minutes. They also offer high tea. I've done this three times and have never been disappointed. This has to be reserved in advance. It is served in the mansion's library and is a lovely experience.
This store is less than a year old but has become my favorite location. The coffee drinks are consistently great. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Add comfortable seating and fast Wi-Fi and this is a home away from home, well maybe for me!
America's favorite all-day, everyday stop for coffee, espresso, breakfast sandwiches and donuts. Stop by or order ahead with the Dunkin' App.
Its Dunkin Donuts so theyre all pretty much the same. Amazing how the price of donuts has gone through the roof even though the cost to make them has not really risen. I guess they have to thank Starbucks for raising the bar on the price of coffee and a bite to eat.
