Trendy cafe with fresh food and great coffee by day and Fine Dinning bistro with current and delicious food by night
Some of Durban's nicest coffees and freshly baked cakes are on offer here. Its a lovely quiet spot to chill on Durban's beachfront, take in the vibe of the coastal city and all its variety of people, places and festive atmosphere. The tables are well spaced to have a hearty chat and catch-up with whoever you're out with. The cakes and desserts are truly heavenly. We tried out nearly all the desserts on offer and not one disappointed us. Will do this again!

We went to Antique Cafe with a group of 18 family members. Although our waiter was extremely friendly and helpful-it seemed like the kitchen could not cope with the volume they required to deliver. We waited a very long while for our food. Furthermore, we were highly dissapointed that we each received our food at different times. It seemed to come in drips and drabs. My son received his food 20min after I got mine. My dad received his eggs and after a 10min wait received his toast. The sad part is, though we went out as a family, we could not all be served at once and eat together. Perhaps, they could cope with smaller parties better. Portions are small and abit over priced. On a positive note....their coffee is simpy delicious.

We are passionate about coffee and food, we love serving it to people who love exploring flavors... we love the city and the people in it...
Saviorâs was highly recommended to me, by the owner of a restaurant in Burnedale. I have now been to this café on six or seven occasions, and it has rapidly become a favourite haunt! I love sitting on the verandah, and enjoying the excellent service by all the waiters and waitresses. Lin has been particularly outstanding on several occasions. She is very helpful with recommendations, and is enthusiastic about the various choices on the menu. The food is always delicious, and I have to try to stop myself from ordering the thin, crispy pizzas every time we go there! The pasta dishes are also yummy, and the cappuccinos are splendid. The manager, Max, and his wife, are very friendly and welcoming, and they were particularly kind and helpful today, after their car guard foiled thieves from stealing my car.I was most impressed by the latterâs courage and quick thinking, and I was immensely grateful.Thank you for your kind words Mrs P, we are grateful to have met you, love having you in our place and also the amazing conversations... See you soon.

I know I said never again in my 2016 review but a colleague wanted to come here and it is conveniently situated so visit we did - I am pleased to say there was an improvement in the food - my go to fare of Salmon Benedict served late morning was well prepared and tasty - my friends pulled pork pannini was he said very nice and a generous serving which he battled to finish - busy so a little noisy - it was cooler rainy weather, we had abandoned golf earlier, so we were not troubled by the lack of aircon in the verandah section - service was pleasant if a little slow but in defense I have said they were busy - priced right - so ok - just one problem was the number of flies around a fancy gizmos based on Helicopter principles was available to put on the table but not that effective

La Verdure is a Real Food Cafe. We don't do preservatives, tinned and processed foods and fake flavouring. We make everything from scratch and have the most delectable dishes. We are a boutique coffee shop, that loves to ensure that each meal is properly
Really enjoy having many options when âbuildingâ my breakfast. Love their breads, especially the sourdough. Cappuccinoâs are not the best one can get in Kloof. Can be a bit noisy. Service is a problem in that on each of 3 occasions I have been there, the meal is served and then nobody comes to check if all is in order or if anyone wants another drink or a second coffee. On our last visit, a couple of the meals were not sufficiently warm. Small mistakes which could be easily rectified. I would visit there again. Thanks for your honest review. We are having a little trouble with our coffee machines since our fire in the front of house 10 days ago. We are working hard at getting things back to the standards before and will be there shortly. I hear you on all points and will be addressing them all. Would you care to call with more specifics? 082 5514106 - Value your input. Shay

Set on the beautiful beachfront promenade, you will certainly enjoy this family restaurant with great food, value for money and an amazing view of the ocean.
We frequent this restaurant on a daily basis . Exceptional level of service maintained at all times . Staff are always friendly and greets when they see a returning patron . The owner Kay - always make a point of going around talking a greeting her customers . There is a lot of " regular " face that you see there . Food is excellent , large potions and value for money .

Went to PARC. as advertised on trip advisor as Gluten free options. Beautiful menu BUT NO GLUTEN FREE OTIONS. You can eat salads but if u want a wrap or open sarmie you out of luck. I opted for the sugarbean curry and poached eggs and it was stunning. Worth a visit even if not advertised correctly Dear 335leannecIf you could point out exactly where on Tripadvisor you spotted the gluten free information we can address it? Parc has never offered/stocked gluten free bread and we manage our own advertising. Please respond here or email us on [email protected].
