After visiting the castle we tried out the cafe. Glad we did. Modern cafe with a nice atmosphere. Staff were helpful and friendly and the food was very good. Scones were really yummy. Not the cheapest around but I thought it was a good value experience. Will visit again.

A GREAT PLACE TO MEET AND EAT. Serving delicious dishes from the land, sea, soups, snacks and afternoon tea.
When we arrived in the afternoon they had just finished serving afternoon tea so we had coffee and cake. Lovely butternut squash cake and pear and bramble. We decided to go back for dinner and weren’t disappointed. Best meal of our weekend away. Black pudding with goats cheese and Cullen skink to start followed by Vegetarian lasagne and a cheeseburger. Delicious.
