Doolin (Irish: Dúlainn) is a coastal village in County Clare, Ireland, on the Atlantic coast. It borders the spa town of Lisdoonvarna. It is a noted centre of traditional Irish music, which is played nightly in its pubs, making it a popular tourist destination. There are numerous nearby archaeological sites, many dating to the Iron Age and earlier. Doonagore Castle and Ballinalacken Castle are also in the area. The area was officially classified as part of the West Clare Gaeltacht (an Irish-speaking community) until 1956, and, due to trade with the Aran Islands, maintained a strong connection to it until the 1990s.

Small family run hotel in the centre of Lisdoonvarna with Cafe serving all day breakfast and lunch daily to 5pm. Dinner served in bar 6 to 10pm Wednesday to Monday during summer season.
Seemed to be the only place people were eating in the day i passed so after checking out the town. Went back and ate here. The server was very friendly and efficient man and even gave a tip which I wouldnât do too often. Food was tasty, good menu. Loads of choice. Maybe a little pricey

We stopped off for tea and cake, a favourite hobby of ours. While the teapot was a great size and hot the cake was disappointing. A chocolate slice for himself that was warmed and served with cream but the cake itself was too sweet and had no real texture. Mine was salted caramel and reminded me of a frozen dessert that has been defrosted, it was disappointing and not cheap.

New Artistan cafe in Lahinch serving fresh local produce alongside roasted brown specialty coffee, specializing in breakfast, lunch and freshly baked treats.
This time I brought the terrors 6.5 and 2.5 they just adored Dodi's pancakes. Quote from Miss 6.5 "best pancakes ever"....long pause..."eh besides your mom". They were to die for so I've told her it's okay the pancakes deserve her review (and she's picky!). Dodi put all the extras on the side for the kids so they could taste and pick and choose.the breakfast bagel was so good with local bacon that you just cant get in NZ and the staff are always fabulous. Can never recommend enough, if in Lahinch it's definitely worth a stop.

I had the hardest time picking from the menu because everything on it looked so good. I finally chose a pizza, which was absolutely delicious and filling. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone driving through this area!

This place looks lovely, as does the food but the pizzas and bagels were bland, the staff while very friendly were distracted. On two occasions we were incorrectly billed. The coffee was good. The prices were very high for what you are getting.

Brought the kids here for lunch and not one of us enjoyed our meal. Veggie wrap with falafal was tough and bland. Plate of salads was flavourless and uninspiring. The kids had toasted cheese sandwiches and I have never tasted anything like it. It was some kind of white gloopy goo on soggy white sliced pan, nothing toasted about it, just warmed up, but unidentifiable cheese that none of us could eat...it smelled, looked and tasted bad. The chai latte was sickly sweet. The meal was cheap, I'll give it that. The staff were a lot less than friendly, indifferent and fed up looking.

I had a piece of cake here the other day. It was very dry and didn't have much flavor. The ice cream that came with it didn't even help much. (They also need more ice cream flavors than just vanilla.) The staff was also particularly curt. Don't waste your time (or money) here.
