Donegal Town is a fairytale of a place, featuring a charming harbor, serene beaches and stoic stone remains of centuries past, like those of 15th-century Donegal Abbey. Stern-looking Donegal Castle, recently restored to its one-time Gaelic glory, is the crown jewel of the area. If you’re looking for souvenirs, snag a hand-woven tweed or carpet, the signature goods of the area. For a good craic, the pubs of The Diamond area are a sure bet.

Stopped here for something quick to eat - was told it was a nice wee spot and we weren't disappointed! Four of us ordered lunches - all different and all equally as nice. I got the fish cakes and chips which were lovely, while the others got lasagne and turkey and ham. All served really quickly and all lovely. Reasonably priced too. Will def stop there again!
Called in to this café for Sunday lunch. Café/tea room style seating with little space between tables. Busy venue with basic food being served. Entrance very misleading as it is through a take away and signs not very clear.
Artisan Café with own roasting room. Freshly roasted coffee beans, coffee served on site or take away. Selection of green or wellness teas. Home made cakes, soups ans snacks.Freshly made sandwiches or salads. Polish crepes.

Thank you so much for your lovely review. We look forward to your return.Regards.Michael

The coffee was warm milk flavoured with coffee. The scone was heated in the microwave; served with cold butter and a portion of preserve, as we applied the butter and preserve to the scone it fell to pieces....

I visited here today, ordered poached eggs, bacon , beans and mushrooms, the mushrooms were beyond greasy, a staff member confirmed they were deep fried ! Absolutely revolting, who wants to eat mushrooms saturated in cooking oil ! What happened to saute!!! , clearly the lazy way suits the chef !
