I happened by this place and remembered it was ranked highly on TripAdvisor. It did not disappoint. The set up is like an American diner but the menu is mostly local. The service and food were excellent. I don't know why it has the $$-$$$ range for prices. It is more like $-$$ in my opinion. Highly recommended!

As I went to Dipolog for business, our business partner invited us for lunch to this restaurant. Therefore I donât know the exact location. But the surrounding is good, and so is the interior design. After all, I understood that this restaurant is owned by our business partner.

Finally a viable alternative to UrChoice. Nothing erong with UrChoice at all. Quite the contrary: still by far the best restaurant in Dipolog. Nonetheless, there is only so much heavy Italian food anyone should eat. I went to Melting Pot on the recommendation of an English friend. Right off, within five minutes, it had two strikes against it: overly cutesy, off the rack decor and an immense menu. So far, however, all is well, better than well. Two different kinds of sausage plate, quesadillas, two sallads, baby ribs, and a roasted chicken wrap, all at or above expectations. I'm sure there will be failures sometime in the future. But even if/when they happen, we'll go back. Again and again.
