Great coffee and super tasty home made sandwiches! Together with an amazing staff, beautiful interior design and view to the river makes it a perfect place for a lunch or an evening drink. Definitely recommend!

The waitress was busy, but still kind enough to work with our sad attempts at French and offer suggestions. Service was great, and my food was excellent. My companion said his croquettes were good, but not as good as my waterzooi. The space is fairly small and seems to often be busy, but I think it was part of the charm and enjoyed the experience thoroughly.

We were here with two friends to have a couple of smoothies. The smoothies were completely watered down so we complained with the waitress and (we already paid for the smoothies) asked to change one of the smoothies for a coke instead. The owner came out with the coke and, in a mocking way, pointed out how we were the first to ever complain about their smoothies and maybe there was something wrong with our taste. We calmly explained that it was just a matter of taste and there was no point in being so dramatic. He left in anger. After a while, the waitress came back asking us to pay for the coke as well. We paid and left. Very, very, very rude and very bad smoothies (the coke was good though!).

I arrived at Dinant from Brussels early in the morning. I dropped in this cafe to have breakfast. I wanted to have something sweet. So I had an eclair and cappuccino. The eclair was mediocre, but the cappuccino was like a Wien style coffee. I liked it very much.I relaxed here for a while.

We ate here one Saturday afternoon. The sun was starting to set and we wondered whether or not to eat at the tables outside.However, we opted to eat inside and had a tasty three course set menu for 13 Euros each.The service was quick and the food nice.My only complaint was that the staff would stand in the doorway smoking and the smoke would drift back into the cafe / restaurant
