Discover Restaurants offering the best Cafe food in Delft, South Holland Province, The Netherlands. Vermeer’s birthplace and a true gem, Delft sits between The Hague and Rotterdam in the country’s southwest. The city’s name comes from the Dutch word for digging, fitting since canals are a highlight here. Others include the 13th-century Old Church, the 15th-century New Church and the Prinsenhof, once home to William of Orange and now a museum. Delft has long been a center for fine ceramics, and traditional hand painting methods can still be witnessed at Koninklijke Porceleyne Fles.

A cosy brown-cafe right in the center of beautiful Delft. Pool, darts and live sports on TVs all day long!
We stopping in because it was pouring rain out and there was a sign advertising food. We sat at the bar and were told that they did not serve food as their cook left to work at another restaurant so we had beers. The beers were spilled and the glasses and bar were sticky - to attempt to clean anything. Service was not good as the bartender soon left to go hang out with some patrons who were playing pool. I read the other reviews and I just wish that I could say that I had a better experience but I can'tHi Judy,A very unfortunate experience you had in our bar! Would you still remember which day you visited ?Best regards,

My wife and I each had a "Boerenpannekoek". It was richly filled and should have been awesome. Sadly it was a bit undercooked. So what could have been and should have been a very good came down to an average. I am willing to try it again as this easily could have been a one off. The coffee is good in this restaurant. The wait staff was young, on the ball, and very friendly. Only plusses there. We were sitting outside on a heated terrace. It was a pleasant place to be.what a pity to read that the pancake was undercooked!our apologies for that.we hope you will come back soon so that we can make the best pancake for you.

Atithi - The Hash Eatery Restaurant is the very first and exclusive Vegetarian Indian Fast Food Restaurant opened in Delft, Netherlands! All the food items are freshly prepared. Most of the spices and other ingredients even Paneer (Indian Cottage Cheese)
I've been to India and I really like Indian food in India. Was not sure if I could get authentic qualified Indian food in Holland. Went to try Atithi in a Thursday evening. Locates next to A13, was easy to find. It's not a big place, but neat and clean. Simple Manu, only chicken, egg, and vege. These are good signs for being authentic Indian restaurant. And they are!Had garlic naan, kadhai chicken, and Lassi. Great taste, almost the same as I had in India. I give it five stars!

This café "9 to 7" serves good food and coffee. It's right on the market and their terrace is heated, so you can sit outside year 'round. It's well-run and very popular with the locals. The only complaint is that their portions are small and their prices tend to be high.

Not planning to come to eat in Delft, we happened upon this lovely café. We both ordered cream of asparagus soup and a sandwich. Mine was the most amazing tuna salad sandwich! it had very large caper berries, green beans and tuna on a delicious bread and a side salad. My partner had a toasted goat cheese and honey sandwhich - which he also loved. The soup was made with white asparagus and ham, and was also very good. Very reasonable prices, with a relaxed atmosphere right in the center.

Cafe de Oude Jan is a small pub in the centre of Delft, with a big and sunny terrace in the summer. We're a suitable place for lunch and drinks, but also for a gathering of friends or colleagues, birthday party, reception or a lunch with a bigger group. I
Cafe de Oude Jan have a nice and sizeable outdoor terrace at the foot of the Old John - the old church of Delft, of which construction started around 1250. At the moment regrettably a bit disturbed by building activity. However it should be said the Angus burger with goat cheese and Jalapenos was above average. Prices quite reasonable.

After seeing reviews and pictures of the pie here we just had to try it on a recent visit to Delft. We sat outside under the trees, mostly young Dutch people having lunch around us and the weather was beautiful. Our waiter spoke perfect English, and brought us out outstanding apple pies and coffee. WOW, being used to US apple pies, this one was just enormous with a river of whipped cream on top. Not too sweet, and crust was delicious....the taste of the apples came through. It was divine but I could not finish it, the serving was so big. This place is a real slice of Holland and our experience here was memorable. When we were finished our waiter asked us if it is true that American apple pies are so small and not as high as the Dutch....OH YES for sure!!

The Stads-Koffyhuis combines the comfort of yesteryear with the quality of today. Get acquainted with local artisan products and award winning culinary creations in the âLiving Room of Delftâ. Whether itâs the homemade apple pie, the aromatic pancakes or
We choose this place for breakfast, mainly because of all the praise it has received. Location is brilliant, and the tables on the barge are just lovely. Staff was busy, but friendly and helpful. Coffee was good, juice fresh and tasteful. The renowned broodjes was in our opinion a disappointment.. They were not bad, but nothing we'll come back to experience another time. But a nice place and for our little boy the child menu with a toy was exciting.
