Saw this on Google, on our doorstep but never visited before!!What a jem if a place! We took our granddaughter to the family day, she enjoyed animal petting with rabbits and guineapigs, a snake and a beautiful parrot, there was also a free bouncy castle and face painting.The garden centre looked very clean and well kept with all plants well kept and watered.We then had lunch in the Canalside Cafe, lovely food and again superb staff just like the face painters, the childrenâs meal a little expensive at £4.99 for a cheese sandwich and a cup cake and a mini box of raisins with three crayons in a carrier bag to colour in, but made fresh. Our paninis were very nice with salad and chips, we will definitely be back again!!Hi ,thank you for your kind words ,they have made my day !Because we are a family run independent garden centre ,we always have something going on here ,from cuddle sessions ,to Harry Potter afternoons teas and events ,to ice skating and wreath making.....Please forgive my late response ,we didn`t realise that the reviews were even hereHopefully see you soon.

This has old fashioned charm, quaint floral fabrics and interesting furniture. They sell very basic tea, coffee, scones, tea cakes, and sandwiches, and have some lovely antique pieces for sale. They also sell logs, garden things and some plants. A little bit of a mix of things but very lovely friendly staff and easy parking. Worth a visit. I stopped off for an early morning coffee on a sketching trip, and it was a nice start to the morning.

Visited twice now and really enjoyed the coffee and cakes... Helps that its dog friendly and he always gets a treat... Lovely and spacious and staff are friendly especially the gentleman who has been working on the Sundays we have been in. Staff can make such a difference and he does for sure..!!! It was a warm day and I felt it would be nice to have an ice cream. I spotted Cuaccino and went to have a delicious ice cream. The establishment was clean and airy and I was made welcome. The ice creams on offer are varied and numerous to mention. I spoke with Martin who was very friendly. They sell coffee and panini as well. Please do ring before you head here to check opening times. Wedding Venue and Cafe, ring first to see if cafe open as it is closed when we have a wedding on. Open most days 9am to 3pm last orders being 2pm but if we have a wedding or event it is closed.

I have to say that everything the owners of Skylark did for our relatives wedding ceremony was superb. The location is lovely with great views over open countryside. Everything was well organised. Food was superb. The GF options were really tasty. All the waiting staff were talkative and friendly. This place is a hidden gem and I guess offers fantastic value for money. Everyone of the team was passionate about their responsibilities.Thank you!

Lunch stop for two. Menu extensive. Very sensible price, veggie friendly. Friendly staff. Four star as the wait for food was excessive (Maybe just a slow day). When food arrived is was very good. Needs another pair of hands in kitchen. However liked it and will go back soon.

I organised a trip up to Derbyshire with 5 friends, and we wanted something more than the standard motorway services breakfast. A short drive to Weedon Bec and we weren't disappointed. In fine surroundings, we had a choice of breakfasts cooked to order with excellent locally sourced sausages. More tea and coffee than you can drink, great service with a smile and safe parking outside. Will definitely recommend and return

We have recently moved to the area and have been enjoying getting to know the area better as we find our way around.Having stumbled upon this amazing place several weeks ago we have been back most Saturdays for coffee and food. We have been trying out different things from the breakfast menu, and also the gorgeous cheese scones, and every visit has been amazing!The staff are wonderfully attentive and friendly and great you with a welcoming smile, and the seating is relaxed and informal, with a selection of tables and comfy chairs/sofas inside, plus also an outside seating area. It really is perfect!Service has been very quick and efficient on every visit, and all the food we have tried has been 10/10, absolutely delicious and freshly cooked to order.We are looking forward to working our way through the menu and specials board for a long time to come!Hi Debbie405,Thank you for this wonderful review, we are so glad you stumbled across us in your adventures around the area.
