Although we got there just after lunch had finished, they offered to serve us. It was an interesting mix of Jaapnese and western meals. The meals were very big and hearty. The omu-rice was delicious. The hamburgers looked terrific but, you had to order them ahead of time - so we couldn't try them. The menu has plenty of pictures so it's easy to choose. The restaurant has plenty of parking.
the winery uses locally-grown mountain grapes - though they aren't the sweet, super grapey-flavour of a lot of Japanese wines that I've tried before. the facility is well kept, the lunch menu is also pretty good - and they offer tastings of all of their wines so you can try before you buy (but don't drink and drive in Japan - huge no-no). There are also a few windows that let you see all of the equipment they use - it's a pretty good place to eat/relax - and close to a lot of other places too/
