Crewe /kruː/ is a railway town and civil parish within the borough of Cheshire East and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. The area has a population of 84,863. Crewe is perhaps best known as a large railway junction and home to Crewe Works, for many years a major railway engineering facility for manufacturing and overhauling locomotives, but now much reduced in size. From 1946 until 2002 it was also the home of Rolls-Royce motor car production. The Pyms Lane factory on the west of the town now produces Bentley motor cars exclusively. Crewe is 158 miles north of London and 35 miles south of Manchester.

Nice staff, clean tables, good coffee. My friend and I both had jacket potato with salad, but the potatoes were cold in the middle. We didn't complain as we didn't have time to wait for replacements. The staff there are extremely pleasant.

We visited today for a snack and hot drink on a bitterly cold afternoon. The place is spotlessly clean, the two young ladies serving were pleasant and friendly and the food cooked fresh and served piping hot, as were the drinks. Definitely worth a visit when in Crewe.

Popped in for a coffee and bacon bap. Baps were great, big, fresh rolls with loads of perfectly cooked bacon. The coffee was fantastic too, one of the best lattes I've ever had !!

Called in for a coffee and cake yesterday afternoon with friends whilst in town and what a lovely place. Very nice friendly staff, offering a good service. I'd been out all morning and had worked up an appetite so immediately thought of Grant's for a delivery. When I phoned, which was near closing time, I was told they were fully booked on deliveries. Grant must have noticed the disappointment in my voice and because I'm a regular customer, he said he'd squeeze me in. The food arrived within 30 minutes and was fully up to the delicious standard that Grant's is famous for. As a bonus it's never as much money as you think it's going to be. Absolutely fantastic all round.

My friend and I visited The Pantree for lunch. I had an Italian chicken and mozzarella panini, which arrived lovely and hot, with tortilla chips and coleslaw. It was utterly delicious. There is a range of home made cakes available too. I went for the caramel cheesecake (with a biscoff base) which was quite frankly THE best cheesecake I have ever tasted. Lovely clean and welcoming family cafe.

Nipped in with my daughter on a Saturday, it was very busy but we found space, and all of the girls waiting on were so nice and attentive, really friendly. two sandwiches, chips and two drinks for less than a tenner!! Friendly boss/owner too. Asked if everything was ok with us
