I always go here. Absolutely brilliant service, staff are very friendly and ensure you have a great time. Food is lovely every time. It's clean, tidy and would recommend to anyone. Toilets are so clean and smell nice too.

This is one of the best cafes i have ever visited in my life , thats how impressed i was with this cafe. On arrival parking was so easy as adjacent is a large car park with easy access, the building itself has a nice look and veyr inviting especially as it overlooks water/lakes from its many windows. On entering cafe we were immediately given a friendly welcome and shown to tables. The menu was quite comprehensive and prices were very reasonable , i chose the homemade chicken jalfrezi which was very tasty and not too hot but had a nice ammount of spice, with this i had a cappucino and my total bill was £7-95 which i considered a bargain. I noted that the sticker on entrance sported a five star hygiene rating which did not surprise me as the whole establishment was spotlessly clean . Only drawback for me is that i dont live locally as we were visiting the nearby Naval Submarine Museum , but if i did live near i would certainly be paying multiple visits here for a full english breakfast or lunch.I understand this is a family run cafe and i cant praise them enough for their all round perfect eatery , well done and keep up the hard work.

Whatever 'Poppins' you visit the staff are always pleasant, smiling and attentive. This one in Cosham is no exception...... I've been with friend, hubby and also the grandchildren. I would recommend Poppins to anyone whether you want just a cuppa, breakfast or lunch it's great.

My first visit. And certainly not my last.Pleasant atmosphere, good service, extremely clean & tidy (including the toilets). Vegan friendly, although I didn't on this occasion. My choice from the menu was: "Good Intentions" - smashed avocado, tomato, red onion, and butternut squash on sourdough toast with the house dressing. Plus a salmon addition.Delicious! See you again soon..!

The Spinnaker Cafe is located in the heart of Old Portsmouth, Southsea, Hampshire. It is surrounded by history and has an amazing view of the Spinnaker Tower situated just over the water. It is loacated within walking distance to Gunwarf Quays and the fam
Popped in for a bite to eat after a disappointing pint in the Still and West. Always carry cash so did not worry whether card machine not working (see review below). Chose a ham and cheese sandwich. The sandwich was large, well filled and with salad and dreamy, creamy coleslaw. The crusty bread was lovely and soft in the middle. The service was excellent.

Based on the reviews I was expecting a good fry up but no. Before i criticise I will just say I loved the reggae that was on and the staff were friendly and polite. Ordered a strawberry milkshake and it was not nice. The person that i was with had one too and loved it so I just thought it must of been my taste buds. The Food was slow. When it arrived the bacon was burnt, at least it was crispy..... The tomatoes were greasy, off-puttingly greasy. Everything else was edible but nothing special. I was disappoint with this place, i may have came in on a bad day as all of the other reviews seem positive but i can safely see that this was not a good experience for me or my friend.

Family run, traditional English cafe serving fresh home cooked food, with a view to providing meat, vegetarian and vegan options.
We had a large full english with blk pudd and mushrooms added and a small vegan, coffee and a kickstart juice. It was really busy and we were forwarned of a 40 min wait, but it was worth it. Our drinks were brought to us almost immediately. The cafe has about 34 seats inc 3 x 2 seat tables outside. Everything was well cooked and girlfriend said it was THE best vegan breakfast she'd ever had! Staff maybe young but are very efficient in table clearing and keeping the very busy cafe clean and customers happy. Definitely reccomend.

A clean, friendly, traditional British café. Excellent home-made food. At breakfast time it was crowded with builders, and they're a discerning lot. Thoroughly recommended, with the possible exception of the rather weak coffee. But at least we could order our coffee in English...

This is a lovely place with plenty of character. It is very nicely and interestingly decorated along with classic old unobtrusive music playing in the background. The staff are very friendly and the service very good. The coffee is nice and hot and there is a VERY large selection of teas including strawberry. The food is excellent especially the cheese scones and all reasonably priced. A lovely place to sit and relax after shopping and I would definitely recommend it. A typically English tearoom.

Traditional Tea Room, Serving Breakfast, lunch, Homemade Cakes . Afternoon Tea Great Coffee and Range of Teas
Such a lovely place for an afternoon tea. Have visited a few places but this is my favourite. On arrival our waitress asked if we had any dietary requirements. I donât have butter in my sandwiches and my friend doesnât like egg, staff are always so friendly and accommodating. Never feel rushed, great that you can just graze through all the delicious sandwiches, scones and cakes. Stayed for another drink afterwards and my friend even booked another afternoon tea before we left. Thank you and will be back again soon. Thank you so much for your lovely review. We are so glad you enjoyed your afternoon tea and appreciated the service we give.Hope to see you again soon
