After reading the reviews my husband and I went to get burgers from sidewalk, unfortunately I would have to disagree with every other review. This is a disorganised and poorly run cafe, the burger patties were undercooked and soggy and the chips were unsalted. Terrible. How hard is it to get a decent meal in Nelson bay?
Had morning tea there this week. For a place in a food court of a shopping mall it is pretty good. The food is nice and the coffee is decent. Didn't wait long for the order to be processed. The staff seemed pretty happy overall.

Relaxed beachside cafe serving modern breakfast and lunch.Fully licensed and B.Y.O. Situated within the Fingal Beach Surf Life Saving Club. Our menu focuses on healthy wholesome food with a particular focus on G.F meals.
The food was ok but the wait time for basic fish and chips is far to long. While waiting for our we witnessed several customers return to the counter we their orders being stuffed up.Hi there CoreyT1980 sorry to here your disappointment. Your words are really quiet hurtful to all our staff who try so hard to keep everyone happy as possible. I am also sorry you feel you waited to long for your " Basic fish and chips". we also have a whole separate café menu in which could have been busy and attributed to your wait.

This is a gem. Delicious food prepared by a chef who frantically dashes around his small kitchen with a serenely calm demeanour. He is in control. And his work is terrific. Good selection of pizza with a crispy base. Three little pigs, and the seafood are both great. Wife loves the very cheap but very fancy salads. Nice selection of wine, (bottle shop on premises) and three beers on tap, including a coopers (meh) a wheat beer (not my thang) and a home grown âcellar lagerâ (delicious!). Service is home town/family and super friendly. Strongly recommend either dining in or getting takeaway to one of the parks with ocean views. Best value in Fingal, Shoal or Nelson Bay.

Yep... we needed a flag to tackle this amazing mountain of food.Eggs Benny, Smashed Avo and Zucchini Fritters were our poison of choice. The fritters were deep fried and a little brown but very tasty. My eggs Benny was bloody awesome. Yep, worth a visit. Take your spare tummy!
