Ordered for delivery. Said would be 45 mins. Took over 2 hours. Icecream tasted cheap and milkshakes were bland. Waffles were raw in the middle and tasted like cheap batter. Wouldn't get it again. Tried to ring to resolve but they had closed . Disappointed. !!

My husband had the large breakfast and I being vegetarian found the option of the halloumi breakfast appealing. It was disgusting and inedible! There was one tiny piece of the cheese which was curled up and burnt around the edges and I couldn't even cut it with my utensils. A large mushroom was on the plate that was visibly full of frying fat was most unappealing and an unusual amount of beans that covered everything on the plate. This was all bad enough but it's a con that it is a proper vegetarian breakfast with the halloumi, and if you do find it - make sure it's edible! No way will I be conned again.

I have rated as three stars as I don't want to reduce overall ratings too much based on not eating there! We had looked forward to trying the advertised 'Café by day, bistro by night' on our return Narrowboat journey, but found that it is no longer open in the evenings. Important to know if you are planning canal stops.

We called in after a Boxing Day dog walk and found the cafe was extremely warm and welcoming with a cosy old fashioned range.Dogs are welcome inside and out on leads which is always a bonus. We sat in the lovely outside court yard.Lattes and bacon butties were extremely tasty and the staff were very helpful and friendly even though it was busy.Highly recommend.
Great fresh breakfast in the sun with Su and Bessie (the dog). Very friendly staff and food was clearly well sourced and fresh. I had the omelet (beacon &, cheese) with Su having the English breakfast. Toast and beans was provided to share. Will definitely return and next time go inside (dog friendly).

Over two years since I reviewed the arcade cafe, New owner from last time and he deserves all the praise he gets. Breakfasts are brilliant.I went for the choices where you choose 6 items, An excellent idea. The whole staff are a pleasure and you can tell the owner cares about his food and the level of service. Please give this place a try...Some lovely specials on the board, and nice to spend some of my money with a local lad trying to make an honest living...

Decades ago there were traditional little cafes like this all over the place in parks and beauty spots. Not any longer- so this is worth a visit in tandem with exploring the marvelous lakeside with its variety of birds/ducks/geese. Nice pictures celebrating the lakeside setting in a friendly little environment. We had a bacon sandwich and flapjack and a cup of tea which was a nice break.

Vegan review: Ate here for a friendâs baby shower. They were very generous with the portion sizes and quite creative! There was an assortment including falafel, potato salad, olives, sun dried tomatoes, wraps, vegan cheese, salad, fruit and chutneys. There was so much I took home what I couldnât finish. They packed it in brown paper bags for me. Dessert was fruit with vegan ice cream and candy floss! It was all for the bargain price of £15.

Serving fresh food, home baked cakes, biscuits and desserts daily, to eat in or takeaway. Afternoon Tea served daily, Booking essential. Dogs welcome.
Called in with my dog and weâd gone to the park but it started raining hard. Always difficult to decide which cake to have but I settled for the blondie and a filter coffee which I prefer to fancier coffees. My dog was given a sausage which went down well. Lots of staff who were either cleaning or baking. Itâs nice to be able to see into the kitchen. Thank you for the lovely review, we do like our 4legged friends
