Friendly and welcoming Cafe Serving home-made fresh cuisine.
Location is lovely. Staff were efficient and friendly, chowder was a bit disappointing, lacked flavour unfortunately.

Irish language cafe & bakery located in an artist run craft village. Serving hot food, freshly baked breads & pastries, beer, wine & barista coffee. Voted 2018 top 100 restaurants in Ireland.
Ordered breakfast at 1pm ( menu stated breakfast served until 1pm) but manager said this wasnât possible. After expressing my disappointment manager allowed me to order breakfast. 20mins after ordering there was no sign of breakfast & I informed waitress I had to leave at this point. Very unsatisfactory!

On my visit Oughterard I was spoiled for choice of where to eat. A beautiful little village bustling with life. Having parked my car fortunately be side Camp Street Cafe we went in to a cosy cafe and were met by a friendly face. First off food was as the sign said the best fish and chip and they were not joking but the staff were amazing and if you are lucky to meet Dessie all the better but don't worry he'll make himself known talk the legs off you and play you a tune on his fiddle what more could you ask for. Give it a go. Don't ask for chicken and why would you chicken is bland the best of times he doesn't do chicken. His pizzas are amazing too as is the lemon cheese cake and chocolate cake. Oh the coffee is good to and great value for money Go on pay them a visit I promise you won't be disappointed.

Lovely menu with local produce. The service is excellent and nice location. The cakes are great including home made rhubarb jam. Highly recommend a visit. Good value.

Menus are in both English and Irish, which gives a nice sense of place, and everything is cooked to order - the Coynes aim to give a proper informal dining experience, accessibly priced and catering for all tastes. Cead Mile Failte!

with spectacular views of Clifden bay this cafe bar offers a range of very reasonably priced homemade cuisine. Enjoy panaramic views at the waters edge and maybe sit out in the beer garden with a refreshing beverage. located only one mile from the centre
Had a few beers in the garden while watching the most amazing sunset. Back in the bar we shared a bowl of chips for a snack which were given to us 'on the house' which was a very nice gesture. Good beer, nice people and this is the best view in Clifden by far. We walked back into town in the dark-although the owner offered us a lift-but it was lovely to see the stars! The food looked very good, will try a meal next time for sure.

Serving breakfast, lunch & dinners, we have a large selection of home baking and freshly ground coffees.. Feel free to bring your own bottle. We have out door seating and wheelchair access. We are staying open this winter
Stopped for quick coffee and cake. Had slice of quiche too which was very nice however the bit we will remember was the chocolate cake! Words cannot explain how exquisite it was - exactly how chocolate cake should be. Go on, spoil yourself!

I ordered the mini breakfast and I received 1 sausage and 1 egg I wouldnât even call it a breakfast all the reviews on this place were rated really high but I was disappointed the portion sizes donât match the price itâs overpriced for basic food.

Looking for a light lunch (breakfast had been appetising and very plentiful), we wandered around Cong village. The village was bustling with a large volume of people and many different nationalities. All the restaurants were very busy, but we spotted an empty table in The Puddle Duck café. We went in and we were quickly greeted by a smiling and friendly waitress, who seated us at the only vacant table. We all ordered the same thing â smoked salmon salad. The salads were well presented and quite delicious. We order coffee and fruit scones to finish â these were also excellent. This is a great little café and well worth a visit

We are a small family run Restaurant, Café and Deli situated on the main street in Oughterard serving homemade meals, cakes and breads using Fresh, Seasonal, Locally Sourced Produce! Wines and local beers too! Serving Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Full Eve
Long story short we missed our opportunity to get Connemara smoked fish direct from the source today during our looping drive through Connemara. As we were famished from our dayâs adventures, and wanted to celebrate with a grand meal, we looked up the highest rated restaurants in Oughterand. Our first pick was Powers, which was full, so we settled on Greenway. I need to state that while Iâm sure Powers Iâd good, Greenway was SPECTACULAR! First, it had features that provided the fish we so desired, which truly is the best smoked fish Iâve ever had, and, if these entrees are indicative of what else they serve, easily sets Greenway as the towns best. We even indulged in dessert, which capped off a magnificent meal.
