Stopped here for a brunch last Monday. The food was overpriced and there wasn't anything to justify the premium. My coffee was served a good 12 minutes ahead of the food and to make matters worse the coffee was lukewarm. We both had the Mushrooms On Toast which was an OK dish except for the toast lacking any crispness which meant it went very stodgy. We will vote with our feet so next time when passing through Greytown it will be an alternative choice. There are plenty of cafes which are a delight to visit. It is unusual for me to give a negative review.

In the middle of Greytown lies Food Forest Organics. A little grocer that provides organic food of all kinds made by the Cameron Family Farm. Yes, ladies and gentlemen this is none other than the famous James Cameron. The visionary director and producer that brought us the Terminator movies and Avatar to name a few. The grocer in itself has an extensive range of organic products which is fantastic in itself. However, unfortunately when myself and my wife reached there, the food service was done for the day and there were no delicious desserts available. I am told that this is a highlight of the venue and is the reason why 3 stars were awarded.

We breakfasted there 3 mornings with a baby & 4yo. Staff were very friendly & accommodating & engaged with 4yo. Great food & coffee. A bit crowded but from the number of people who came in, itâs obviously a hit in town. Reasonable prices.
I was walking with my dog around 6.30am and came upon this brightly lit cafe, busy with a procession of truck driving and tradies, grabbing breakfast to eat on the way to work or sitting down to plates laden with the best looking cooked breakfast feast. My date scone was freshly baked and full of fruit, prebuttered and delicious. Coffee too was hot and top quality. I was happy to sit at a table on the pavement with the dog. I enjoyed watching watch the early morning world go by. I shall be walking to that cafe every morning that I am staying in this great little country town.

The Gelato flavours are great, especially the equalent to the chocolate chick and vanilia flavour. Invited by another local couple recently for a hour r&r. The best aspect with Page 42 it is adjacent to Almos an absolutely amazing bookshop were you can find a corner and sit down and look/read a book! Thanks Mark, our gelato comes from a great little producer in Nelson, he is Italian and I believe learned his craft in his home country, and brought it here to combine with our local flavours and produce. We're changing flavours regularly - always a good excuse to pop in again ;-)

Called in twice - first time to grab a quick snack en route of our travels. Second time we made a point of calling in after doing some sight seeing in the local area. Took some food back to our accommodation for our dinner. Brought a couple of hot cross buns home with me as well which were lovely!

I have just savoured one of the best and freshest pain au raisin pasties ever! As a retired trained baker confectioner, when you find such exquisite goods you really appreciate them. I shall be returning for lunch on frequent occasions as the menu looks amazing. Thank you and merci
