Gusâs Place is amazing! Weâve had breakfast here both yesterday and today. Both times the meals were first class, the service fantastic! Each time we come to Canberra this will be our âgo toâ place for breakfast! It will also be one of our âgo toâ places for dinner or lunch. I canât recommend it highly enough!

This has potential - huge potential. It's unfortunate for them that at the moment there is multiple huge construction sites surrounding them - but if they can make some improvements between now and when the apartments are finished it will be a great little hub.Right now, there are a few issues that I have observed over multiple visits. There is a man working there - I think he may be the manager - that seats patrons. He is not a friendly person. He always acts as though he is doing you a massive favour by giving you a table. The worst part however, is that he treats the staff like absolute rubbish. I have heard him speak to the wait staff in a disgusting manner on multiple occasions. Also, one time I had an issue with the drink I ordered and when I took it to him he spoke badly about the staff who made it rather than just apologising and fixing the issue. Food is mostly great - some really yummy options! I love the potato rosti stack, the baked beans and the avo on toast.

Had lunch here with a friend yesterday. She had the fish of the day which she said was delicious. It came with an interesting array of veges which she enjoyed. I had the warm duck salad which was just as good. Good coffee. Busy on the weekends but service is timely. One of the better eating places on Kingston Foreshore.

We popped in here for coffees and banana bread and asked that these all arrive at our table together only to be told that this couldn't be arranged. Having had too many cafes bring snacks out long after coffees have gone cold, we were concerned to avoid this scenario. Ultimately, after cancelling the banana bread, we were assured that it could all arrive together. As it happens, one coffee appeared to have been waiting around for the bread. Despite these hassles with the service we enjoyed the ambience of the cafe and the banana bread was nice.

Industrial Chic Cafe in the Watson Shopping centre Canberra.Limited Pizza and Burger Menu, some vegetarian offers as well with again limited drinks and Wine listOrdered drinks and food at the bar and were given a table number.Drinks arrived except one,had to remind the staff that it was missing,no apology just OK. My wine glass was chipped and needed replacing,my plate for the pizza slices was cracked and chipped, needed replacing again no apology.Ordered a take away burger for home. Arrived on a plate, taken back and put in a box then left on the Bain Marie until we had to get it ourselves. So all in all pretty poor service ,the pizzas were well cooked, great light fluffy base and plenty of toppings.

Probably the best cafe in the Kingston shops precinct and with reasonable prices - not like the overrated and slow services Silo. The eggs were orgnic and large in yolk size. This is a trendy place frequented by locals so it can be difficult to get a table on the weekends.Coffee is very drinkable.

Cafe by day and Restaurant by night. By day, Trevs offers a bustling yet cosy atmosphere with great coffee and enticing breakfast and lunch options. Start your day with the appetising Bircher muesli, lush scrambled eggs and coffee made to perfection by ou
I recommended the Trev's Collective plates for breakfast which my friends and family have had quite a few times, and they are absolutely delicious. You get to choose 3 dishes from half a page of options. I sometimes go for sweet, savoury or a combination of the two. The dish also comes with a delicious juice of the day which is a nice little bonus. There are also other options if you don't want the Taste Collective. The service is always very friendly and efficient. It's best to book for a Sunday morning because it's so popular. We like a particular table, and they are always happy to oblige if possible.
