Bird Stop is a unique family operated business in Caldwell that is located in a historic old bank building. Good food, cold beer, wine and cocktails. Friendly staff with locally produced musical entertainment. All in what amounts to an urban environment. Highly recommended.

Cashier and baristas super friendly, the usual coffee options including soy, nonfat etc. Incredible displays of nice pastries - I had a whole grain pumpkin scone which was super-delish, a little crunch to the crust, tender inside, real pumpkin flavor and some cranberries - woohoo! and not ginormous but appropriately sized. The vibe is good inside, not completely full of people but a good number spread out mid-morning with quiet talking, laptops, a few kids, etc. Would be a nice place to hang out. Plus an interesting and quirky little gift area. Definitely worth a visit to coffee up or catch a morning pastry or cookie.

The menu is limited for food but the prices seem to be excessive regardless of your selection. Service was less than desirable but the place is one of the few in the area.
