Find out what Cafe restaurants to try in Cadaques. Tiny, hidden bays line the coast around sleepy Cadaques, creating a series of private beaches near the French border. Thanks to their boat-only access, an afternoon of swimming and sunbathing without crowds is as simple as hiring a skiff and cruising the rocky shoreline.

We loved having morning coffee outside at the beachside tables. They served very good espresso drinks and I didn't have to explain coffee latte. The service was quick and the waiters appear to speak several languages.Casino is right smack in the middle of town and the ONLY place we found that you could get coffee before 7am. Every morning it was filled with the same faces that we assumed were colorful locals and at night the place is jammed. There must have been a thousand motor scooters in town on a weekend night and most hanging out here.We never did have a meal here, but it was a great place for unhurried morning coffee and people watching. Loved it

Had a light lunch here & as everything was freshly baked on the premises we were anticipating great things. We were not disappointed. Es Fornet is on the corner of the Main Street across from the beach and offers sweet and savoury delights. You make your choice at the counter and a slice is cut off the slab and weighed in front of you. You then put your money in a contraption at the front of the counter and it pays out your change. Coffee was made and brought to the table with our chosen cakes and result - cake heaven!

Traditional café-bistro selling local gastronomy dishes. Delicious "tapas" , home made pastry, local wine and olive oil. Beautiful setting and really kind staff.
We were introduced to this lovely restaurant at a party. The selections of food and wine were over the top. The service superb. The owner, Emilio's family comes from a background of Olive groves & Vineyards so he is well versed in quality of ingredients and it certainly show.It is in a quiet corner of town where the light is lower so you can even see the stars from the tables on the upper patio. The ambience is warm, rustic & relaxing. A must try in my book and we're glad we did! - Doug n Carol

We did not eat here (they do serve food) but thought they had the best cocktails in town (mojito and mango margarita), along with a great view and service. I think they are worth noting since they are on the less touristy side of the Cadaques beachfront a
We didn't eat here, but we did love their cocktails. They make a great Mohito - perfect for a hot sunny day. We also had their Mango Margarita - pretty awesome also.We also really liked their location - they are on the far right side of the town (on the right side if you are looking at the water from the center of town); this side of Cadaques is more quiet and peaceful. They have outdoor tables just steps away from the water. We had good, friendly service.

This is a nice spot on the other side of the bay. It gets the sun in the morning but is in the shade by early afternoon. I would refer this side to the more Bohemian side of Cadaques. We liked the laid back feel. Two coffees cost â¬3.30.
