Located in an older building in Bright's main Street this is a charming cafe with old country furniture and nic nacs from the past. There is a lounge corner with bookshelf with bookcase. Modernity comes in the display case for cakes and other goodies. The walls are dotted with photos from the past history of Bright. There is even a lolly jar.Breakfast consisted of bacon, eggs and an additional sausage. The scrambled eggs were country style and moist, not like many places that overcook them. There was lashings of bacon. Being carb zero I forsook the toast. My wife's poached eggs was great. Coffee really good.Compared to the glitz and glam of newer building this was great food with old fashioned service.

You are not seeing double, there are indeed two Beechworth Bakeries in beautiful Bright. These are the newest members of the Beechworth Bakery family, and you will find the same great selection & the same fantastic service in both as you find in all the o
We absolutely love stopping at Beechworth Bakeries, in general they have decent food and great coffee. However, this particular one was a bit of let down. Weâve ordered egg, bacon and cheese toast for lunch and it was disappointing. It was overly toasted, could hardly see any egg and bacon in it, definitely not worth the money. Coffee was great but food was really not up to a standard and not a good value for money.
Stopped in here on my way to work for a quick bite. Chose a delicious ham cheese and relish toastie. A freshly pressed juice, the Dirty Dilf is definitely a winner and the coffee is locally roasted and absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back

Walking past a menu taped to an A-board on the street doesnât do justice to what awaits upstairs. 1st floor space is lovely, inside and out - balcony overlooking the street. We came up to support the social enterprise but we enjoyed the food. My egg and bacon burger had chutney and pickled onion to make it more unique. My wife had a Buddha Veggie Bowl and it was a work of art. The variety of fresh ingredients made it so colourful. She said it was the best veggie bowl, ever! The range is limited but we will definitely return.P.S. Sorry, no photos. We tucked in before getting the camera out.

A vegetarian vegan cafe in North East Victoria, Alpine region, serving delicious whole foods for breakfast and lunch. Previous business name was What You Eat Cafe. We have changed the name, but everything else is the same!
This place really surprised us. It doesn't look like much on the outside, that's for sure and even inside isn't much to look at. And of course who cares about that really when the food is delicious. We usually avoid places like this as they have often disappointed in the past but all I can say is that the food here is delicious. I wasn't hungry but my wife had a salad bowl so I tried some and it was so nice I got angry about not being hungry enough to have more than a coffee, which itself was very good. Saw a number of dishes others were having and they looked good and the diners seemed pleased with themselves. So on that small sample I can say that if I return to Bright I may well end up here and you should too if organic and all that kind of thing matters to you.Really excellent.

Absolutely packed on a Sunday morning but it was worth the wait. Really friendly staff and the food was delicious. A unique setting, effectively outdoor dining but in an enclosed area surrounded by wood and stones. Area out the back would be gorgeous on a sunny day.

Went there based on reviews and were very disappointed. Food and coffee was just okay. The name has been changed but website etc do not reflect this. We walked past it twice before a local advised us. Other better choices in Bright.Hi LindaSorry to hear that you did not enjoy your experience here at Coral Lee. We pride ourselves on our food and service. Also to clarify, the cafe has always been and will always be named Coral Lee. Hopefully you will give us another try in the future

This is the perfect place to spend an evening with friends. Stunning views from the river deck, great wait staff and good food. Our experience was all the more enjoyable by the friendly and knowledgeable staff who stayed into very late taking care of our every need. I highly recommend this spot.

I was on the hunt for a cafe that served corn fritters. I found one and was very excited. It looked delicious as the photo shows but it was far from flavorsome. The fritter was very doughy and had a bad texture. I am glad I added the bacon and avocado to make it have a bit more substance and flavor.

What a great little place this is. The service is super friendly and speedy. We were there for breakfast. My wife and I had the smashed avocado, and it was incredibly tasty. And they donât skimp on the avocado either, like some cafes do. My son had the good old scrambled eggs on toast, which he loved. And his girlfriend had eggs on toast, sunny side up. She was very happy with her meal too. Coffees are great, but a little too much milk I think, or a bit weak on the coffee. But thatâs only a minor gripe. Excellent place you wonât be disappointed.
