I saw this place had changed name and owners from what was there years ago so, on the recommendation of a member of staff from Bracknell Tyres, I decided to pop in and get breakfast whilst work was being done on my car.Even at 0900 the place had plenty of customers in. I ordered a bacon and egg baguette with an orange juice and it came to under a fiver, so very reasonable.Although it tasted okay, my bacon was visually rather unappetising. The fat was still white and the bacon pink - it almost looked like it has been boiled. I get the fact that when running a busy cafe they just make sure the stuff is cooked so it doesn't make you ill. Perhaps had I asked to have the bacon done a bit crispy I am sure this could have been catered for, so partly this could be down to me also - if you don't ask, you don't get.I feel awarding 3 stars is a little harsh, but 4 is not reflective of my experience here and, as there is no "half star", it has to be 3 then. Definitely good value though.
Leaving a review at a chain coffee place is probably not necessary since you know what to get. However the assistant manager Charlotte is the rudest person I've been served by. As an assistant manager this is disappointing and costa needs to retrain their staff.

This was my first visit to this café. First impressions was that this was a nice modern cheap eats place to eat. We came around 3:40pm on a Sunday (closes at 4:00pm). Due to the time we arrived there was barely any food to choose from. The tables needed cleaning because they hadn't been wiped down. There is no wi fi and there are toilets in the supermarket. The person at the counter was pleasant. The gingerbreadmen are not very tasty and the Cappuccino is not the best tasting coffee.

Very mixed meal as only 2 out of the 4 meals ordered were good ! The sausages with Mash had watery gravy and the sausages were not that nice even- the other meal a breakfast the Bacon was not cooked enough and the sausages must be from a cheap supplier - the other two meals burger meals were ok . Not very quick with service quite a wait and they donât tell you when you order hot food .
Crepes, Coffee and Fresh Juices made to order at Savernake Park
My husband and son have just had the nutella crepes from here and said they were the best they've ever had! Sadly as I'm gluten intolerant I could only watch them but they kindly offered to make me the 1st crepe at midday on Tuesday, so I can't wait!

Itâs always a pleasure to visit Brown Bag in Bracknell. Vicky is a delight and her fabulous team provide a happy and friendly service. The shop itself has a homely feel to it and the atmosphere is extremely welcoming and relaxed. Itâs certainly my favourite coffee shop in down and comes highly recommended.

Took a friend for a 75th Birthday meal .4 us in total. Excellent small Lakeside Cafe. Easy parking and good view of the lake,This is a real star for genuine home style cooking. Very friendly staff, with good choice of main meals and sweet. Note not licensed. Or just pop in for Tea/Coffee and Home made Cake.

Our independently owned cafe is family friendly and a haven of relaxation and comfort. Let the children be entertained by our small play area whilst you sit back and read the paper over some of our exquisite food & drink. We believe in using only the best
Came in at lunchtime with my partner and ordered 2 chicken burgers and 2 milkshakes. The chicken "burger" filled half the roll only, it was more like a large goujon. Bacon was cheap and fatty and the cheese barely present. Milkshakes were like Nesquik with squirty cream sprayed on top.I'm all for helping out small businesses, but to be frank you can get better food for less money at McDonalds!Thank you for visiting our cafe and I'm pleased you like supporting small businesses.I am very sorry to hear about the poor experience. Our chicken burgers are cooked fresh to order and should be served to customers with ample filling. I can only apologise that this was not how yours turned out and had we known, these would have been made again immediately. Our milkshakes are all made the 'Jude's Ice Cream', they contain a very generous helping of ice cream that is blended with milk and topped with whipped cream. We do not add any additional flavourings or powders. Our milkshakes are really popular but I understand, not everything can be to everyones tastes.

Founded by greengrocer Bill Collison, Bill's serves eclectic British dishes made with fresh and seasonal ingredients.
This was our fifth breakfast visit to Bill's and I was expecting the previous good food and service we had had on our previous visits. So was very disappointed when this did not happen. We arrived at 11.30 a.m for breakfast and chose to sit outside. Our order was taken within 5 minutes and then it all went downhill. I had ordered 2 teas and 2 tap waters but only one of each turned up so I had to ask again. We waited 40 minutes for our food to arrive and when it did my scrambled egg on toast was cold. My daughter said she would eat her bacon roll as hers was warmish. I declined another breakfast as my daughter would have finished hers by then. We heard of at least 4 other tables complaining about both the food and service. Our waiter was apologetic and said he would take the service charge off. The manager also spoke to me and again was very polite and apologetic and advised it was due to a problem with some kitchen equipment. It will not stop me from trying again at some point but not for a while. A shame as was a supposed to be a celebratory occasion.
