Reunion Cafe Dining is a local hub for breakfast, brunch and lunch 7 days a week. We offer an all day menu and excellent coffee, fresh juices and smoothies. We're also licensed. Bookings on weekends are recommended.
Has this excellent cafe changed hands and immediately disintegrated from an excellent standard to one where the staff lack interest.Waited and waited. No coffee order taken and no check for a food order. We left not satisfied and did not wait.

We had a great breakfast here the other day. Very generous portions and importantly very good quality. I had the scrambled eggs with mushrooms, nice touch to have the lovely sourdough toast on the side, not going soggy with the eggs piled onto it!! Coffee is not served hot enough, ask for extra hot if you like it that way.
This is almost a place you have to be invited to, it is really out of the way but in the last 3 visits I have had it is really busy. The coffee is great, the service is really friendly. It pays if you like doing trivia quiz's as there always seems to be one going on involving everyone in the cafe.

The Penny Drop is a charming cafe situated in the heart of Box Hill, with the tram terminus just outside. We had a lovely weekend breakfast there, variations of eggs on toast with sides. The coffee is excellent. There are a range of other breakfast options - waffles, pancakes, fancy ways to eat vegetables eg beetroot patties. The venue is bright and cheerful.

We had a business meeting at this place and really enjoyed their lamb salad. My colleague ordered the burger on beetroot brioche bun with very nice hot chips on the side. Serving is huge and worth the price. Service was good. We will definitely visit this place again.

Went here for breakfast. Service was prompt but patient when we took some time to decide. Food was nice, although the chilli eggs had whole chilli pieces which was unexpected based on the menu. My friends enjoyed their meals too, including the mushroom dish. They didnât rush us out after weâd finished, even though the place was busy on a Saturday morning.

Had breakfast here recently with 3 other people. We booked and were glad we did as it got busy very quickly. The food was delicious and served quickly. The staff were friendly and attentive. One of our party braved the "bucket" coffee. She enjoyed it very much. A very trendy Cafe. Definitely would return.

Celebrated a friendâs birthday last week, and had dinner here. The food was reasonably priced and the staff were helpful and friendly. I had the seafood paella, and so did the birthday girl.Am planning to come back soon.

Iâve visited twice so iâm basing it on both visits. I found the food very bland. My chorizo omelette was over cooked and lacking flavour and had bits of burnt kale stacked on top. Not great. I was surprised as itâs rated quite well. Perhaps just an off day or pressure in the kitchen as they were quite busy.
