Cloisters Cafe prides itself on fair trade suppliers and freshly cooked food, featuring dishes such as smoked haddock with a gruyere and tomato gratin, supreme of chicken in a mushroom and tarragon sauce and roasted sweet potato with a bean ragu. Old favo
After visiting the Chichester Cathedral for services on Sunday morning, we headed to the Cloisters Cafe. This Cafe is set up cafeteria style, and for Sunday lunch we all enjoyed a nice dinner of either turkey or beef with gravy, plenty of potatoes and vegetables as well as Yorkshire pudding. The servings were plentiful, and dessert could be added for just a bit more. This is conveniently located right next to the Cathedral, and worked out perfectly for us. The meals are very reasonably priced, and we enjoyed this very English meal.Dear Mary, Thank you so much for your kind review. I am so pleased to read that you enjoyed your lunch so much. All of our profits go towards supporting the work of the Cathedral so it is so important to us that our guests enjoy their experience in the cafe and the shop! Please do visit us again.Kindest Regards,

Described in The Sunday Telegraph as 'The Best Beach Café in the World', Billy's on The Beach is a fully licensed beach cafe with fantastic views, just along the beach from East Wittering with good parking, great staff, and tasty beachside food. Everythin
Always a very friendly and welcoming service by the team. Even when they are really busy. Lovely food, always hot and happy to accommodate requests by little ones to change the menu :-) Fast service and a relaxing environment. The only downside (which is outside of the owners control). There are often people camping in the car park for the morning sea views. Which means there can be lots of rubbish, smells from people cooking breakfast (not always pleasant) and washing hanging everywhere. It is a real shame.

Hadnât been in to Drift-In for a while - the last time I poked my nose in a blast of fried food pushed it quickly back out... On this occasion the air was clear as it we were having a late lunch. We just had salads but they were generous in size and theyâd not skimped on the tasty interesting ingredients, as is so often the sin. Service was friendly and efficient. And good value for money too. Just hope they keep the Ventaxia going, or better still leave the fry-ups to the Boulevard further down the road (whose door Iâve never darkened...)

Flintstones is a harbour side cafe with panoramic views. We offer breakfast, light lunches , afternoon teas and new forest ice creams.
We saw this tea shop at the start of our walk and looked forward to having a coffee on our return this Saturday morning....Unfortunately, and looking at the recent reviews, ours will go against the grain...Although busy outside, my wife entered with no queue... 5 minutes went by before one of 5 to 6 young girls behind the counter served her...They were all discussing who had and who had not paid...Even when finally served, there was no apology and quite frankly any urgency...We will return when next intending to walk our dog, and we'll see if there's an improvement.....Maybe this was a one off but as we were first timers, you didn't impress....Sorry to read your review, but feel itâs is a tad over exaggerated you say we were full outside and quiet inside, we have 5 tables outside yet you waited 5 minutes to get served, I assure you it would not have taken 5 minutes to a job that they were doing before you entered, and they were doing their job, ensuring which customers had paid and which had not. There were 5 girls on and 2/3 work on the front counter not 5/6, they are seasoned hard working girls who do there up most to keep the business running smoothly. Are we perfect. No. But please just have some patience.

We enjoyed the walk to Driftwood cafe and sat in their charmingly pretty garden. We had a bowl of the most gorgeous parsnip and apple soup served with brown Westbourne brown bread & a very generous helping of 2 butter pats, absolutely gorgeous. We didn't need anything else besides our jug of tap water and the bill was an extremely reasonable amount. Can't wait to go back. The sandwich choice with a smaller soup is also always a gorgeous option too.

The Boulevard has been part of the Christmas family since 1979 and is currently owned and run by me Lucy, and my brother Luke. We serve Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner everyday, 7 days a week. Our menu includes lots of fresh fish and homemade dishes as well a
Really nice cafe / restaurant in East Wittering, generous portions, friendly service, wide range of food on offer: fish and chips, burgers, salads, toasties, jacket potatoes, also serves alcohol. Seems unsure what it is, itâs a seaside cafe, with great breakfast and lunch options, however serving alcohol and opening into the evening sets it as a restaurant / bar. So itâs a little confused, but it was busy on a Monday night (shuts at 8), deep fried Brie wedges were very generous and halloumi sticks very good; jacket potato was good and Selsey crab and calamari salad very good. It was very warm in there, possibly for the older customers ! Also very bright, no subtle lighting! All in all very good for what it is, whatever that is!

We thought long and hard about where we should go today for an excellent Sunday roast and decided it had to be Russells and we were DEFINITELY not disappointed. We both had roast lamb with mint sauce, Yorkshire puddings, crispy roast potatoes, a gorgeous selection of lovely vegetables and what tasted like home made gravy from the meat juices. Wow ... thank you once again to all the lovely smiling faces who greeted us ... we can't wait to return soon. Julie x

Wendyâs Tea Room is in Bosham Walk, the main road leading down to Bosham harbour. It is a cafe/restaurant and is casual, and is a very clean environment with tables, chairs and benches. All of the seating has cushions, so you should be comfortable. The menu consists of breakfasts, sandwiches, scones and puddings. House salads and drinks are on the menu too. The portion sizes are good, and the drinks consist of coffees, teas and soft drinks. Choose your time for visiting as it is popular and can get busy.
