Discover Restaurants offering the best Cafe food in Bolton, England, United Kingdom. Bolton (/ˈbɒltən/ ( listen) or locally [ˈbɜʏtn̩]) is a town in Greater Manchester in North West England. A former mill town, Bolton has been a production centre for textiles since Flemish weavers settled in the area in the 14th century, introducing a wool and cotton-weaving tradition. The urbanisation and development of the town largely coincided with the introduction of textile manufacture during the Industrial Revolution. Bolton was a 19th-century boomtown, and at its zenith in 1929 its 216 cotton mills and 26 bleaching and dyeing works made it one of the largest and most productive centres of cotton spinning in the world. The British cotton industry declined sharply after the First World War, and by the 1980s cotton manufacture had virtually ceased in Bolton.

A true hidden gem which my grandma has been coming to for years. Great café with homemade desserts, paninis, salads, breakfast and drinks etc.Lovely owners who offer a personalised experience and a light-hearted, positive atmosphere. Would 100% recommend. The desserts are quite large though so would recommend sharing one between two although you can take it with you if you donât get through it!Thanks so much for your kind words. Thanks from all the team â¤ï¸

"Cafe Italia is a family run business where people and food are the heart and soul of what we do. We offer a relaxed atmosphere making it the ideal place to meet for a coffee and indulge in a slice of homemade cake, enjoy breakfast after the school run, m
Visited Cafe Italia twice recently, once for breakfast with a couple of business associates. Great value and the. eggs benedict was very good indeed. Couple of days later the lady love and I visited for an evening meal. We really enjoyed it.We had Olives, Pate and Bruschetta for starters, then Parpadelle Al Gamberi and the excellent Paccheri Alla Genovese - which is delicious. We stuffed some Cannoli into our fat faces at the end and wobbled our way home.A very good meal, the best Italian in Bolton, by far. Only drawback I can see is that there isnât much parking, doesnât matter to us as we live close by, but just be aware. Taxiâs are the way forward!

Tried this quaint little place after seeing it on TripAdvisor.Restaurant is small with a small menu too. No complaints from me and everything was clean and tidy.We went for the Yeeros which I guess is similar Gyros. It came in reasonable time as everything was cooked fresh. It tasted delicious and now we know where to go when we want a nice quick authentic Greek snack. Thanks Taste if Greece!

A traditional elegant English Edwardian tea room based in Horwich in Bolton. Serving Ronnefeldt loose leaf teas, fresh Lavazza coffee, home-made cakes, luxury fruit scones, delights, light breakfasts and lunches. Afternoon Teas a speciality.
We visited Poppins Tea Rooms on a Groupon High Tea Voucher. We have had several Groupon vouchers, to various restaurants in the past and we can say this is one of the best ones. The two lady staff present were friendly and attentive and the high tea was very tasty and filling. We had a look at the menu and the choices looked varied and reasonably priced. We noticed that the soup and bloomer seemed very popular amongst the other guests, and the sandwiches and meals looked equally tasty. We will be back to sample the menu again. We're so glad to hear you enjoyed your visit, and that our staff lived up to Poppins standards! Thank you for taking the time to write this kind review, we look forward to seeing you again :)
