Stopped here for lunch whilst out cycling, lovely place to stop at in the square at Selva, waiters spoke good English and service was great.I had Twisters Prawns and Patatas Bravas, very disappointing to say the least, these were just frozen items deep fried, in Spain I would expect Patatas Bravas to be homemade, what I got was frozen potato wedges with some form of spicy coating with a massive lump of mayo over the top, the wedges are something I could buy from a supermarket in the UK, one guy had the pizza and he enjoyed it, also the BBQ Chicken Wings were nice.Be careful what you order. We do not agree with your comment regarding the "patatas bravas" because it is one of the dishes where our customers ask us for more.Thank you for your visit and we will take note of your comment.

Cycling cafe and bike shop, we serve the tipical pa amb oli and any kind of sandwich, cakes, gluten free and vegan cakes and speciality coffe.
A confession: we are not cyclists, we were just looking for a snack and maybe a beer from the Forastera micro-brewery on the same street (which sadly only opens on Friday and Saturday). The other bars in Alaro don't seem to stock local beer for some bizarre reason, just the usual bland corporate stuff from Damm or its fellow mega-breweries. So, Cycling Planet not only has a selection of local beers but serves wonderful cakes, snacks and coffee at reasonable prices and although we weren't dressed head to foot in lycra, we got a very warm welcome. Free wi-fi too if you want to linger for longer. Near the bus stop for return buses to the railway station. A great find.
Far off the typical tourist spots is this jewel. Lots of locals eat here. It's totally cozy, we really fell in love. The service is super friendly, despite lacking English partially. To be clear: This is no fine dining, no expensive cutlery, no fancy tablecloth or classic music. But you feel welcomed, almost at home. The food is basic, but excellent. The cocktails could use a little bit more alcohol, but can you complain at all with these prices? We spent two evenings here and were both times absolutely happy. We highly recommend this place.

This was a truely great little find - at lunch time they do sandwiches and we'd recommend the Sobrassado - a local delicacy. Then in the evening they serve pizzas and burgers.Just a word of warning - the portions are large - don't be fooled by the price! One portion of chips and a burger each did the 3 of us.

The place looks quite bland: I probably wouldn't have wondered in if I hadn't read the reviews. I am so glad I did, because the food is really first rate. We had excellent salmon tartar and Huevos rotos with foie and I am sure the rest of the small menu is equally good. Service was great and not at all pushy and the location is in the center of all the action of lovely binissalem. Thanks a lot Caroline and sorry for the late response. We are reorganising the digital communication and this is one of the steps. Decoration will come eventually... I am happy you liked the food and the service which are two of our pillars. Hope to see you back soon.
