Went there on Sun AM with group of 11 before heading home after Reunion Weekend @ Lehigh. Got there as they opened at 8. We were taken to a group of tables that would serve us well and were told they were reserved for a 9:30 group. We said with good service we would be out before then. Had great breakfasts, reasonably priced and were out by 9:15.

The food is great and we often go. But this is not a place for a quick bite. When busy, service is a bit low but food always hot and fresh. We don't mind. Owners and waitress very nice.

Came here for breakfast with the family. There were lots of options for everyone, including the vegetarians. There are lots of unique menu items, some of which were too unique for me to give a try.Our first order of business was to order coffee. The flavored coffee when we were there was coconut - my absolute favorite. It was a really happy surprise!I did go out of my usual omelette comfort zone and ordered the "The Wendy" - stuffed with bacon, smoked Gouda, caramelized onions, portabella mushrooms and tomatoes. It was delicious! I really enjoyed the sweetness of the onions paired with the unami of the mushrooms. A truly perfect combo. I don't usually like tomatoes in my eggs but these didn't bother me. Happily they didn't make the eggs soggy. The omelette came with the roasted potatoes which had good flavor and just a bit of spice to them. Our service was very good. Took just a bit for the food to arrive but since everything is made to order the time was completely reasonable.

We had a lovely dinner here recently, my Mom got Italian Wedding soup and I had some Coconut Curry Chicken Soup and a Jalapeno pretzel. Everything tasted wonderful, and I'd eat here again any time I was in town. The prices were reasonable and all of the ingredients were fresh etc, but it can take a little while to get your meal. The service is friendly but when we stopped in there were only 2 people there, 1 waitress and I believe the owner who was cooking. It wasn't excessively slow, but if you have timed tickets for something in town, you'll want to take that into consideration.

My husband and I were looking for a small farm to table place and this was exactly what we wanted. Great atmosphere, attentive staff, and DELICIOUS and flavorful food! The homemade jams and English muffins are incredible, but the omelet was out of this world. I highly recommend. Itâs great even to just hang out with a newspaper in the morning. Delish! Weâll be back!

Brunch Served Everyday!
A very pleasant experience for several reasons. First, the Bethlehem Star Cafe is perfectly situated in the heart of Bethlehem near Moravian College, the Hotel Bethlehem and shopping. ALL the staff is extremely friend and service is efficient.Coffees including espresso are outstanding! It's a bit noisy but cozy even for our large group of 13. The food was very good. My Crabcake Benedict ($17) was nicely presented. The home fries were good but needed a slight flavor-up (hot sauce, salt). The sausage patties were excellent. The crabcake was OK, but basically "special crabmeat grade". Others loved the huge Hamburgers, Portabello Mushroom Benedict and the Spicy Fish Tacos. We will definitely return. Can't say enough about the service. A winner!

I wanted to skip the hotel breakfast and bring in breakfast for wife. This fit the bill for a quick walk down the block. Quaint store with more than just bagels. Fresh juice. Egg sandwiches. Lox and cream cheese and a huge assortment of spreads. Fast service but some communication issues with worker behind the counter. Sunday and maybe English is not first language but other worker was helping him get the order right. Bagels are new youâre bagels but good and have that pull to them. Good place to stop and has indoor seating

My wife, adult daughter and I had breakfast with two friends here on a Friday morning at 9 in late July. We ordered coffee, three kinds of eggs Benedict, juice and another entree. Service was prompt and attentive and our coffee cups stayed well filled. We enjoyed our meal, and the bill with 20% tip came to $85 which seems fine for feeding 5 of us a sizable breakfast. Ambiance here is not fancy, so it gets a 4. Food was tasty, so it gets a 4. Location is good, right on Broad off New Street, so location gets a 5, and value gets a 4, while service gets a 5. That works out to an overall 4. This was our second time eating at Billyâs and we likely will do so again next time we are in Bethlehem.Hello PhilosophicalOldGuy, I appreciate the in depth review. It helps us see where we can improve and to see what we are doing right. We'll definitely work on making sure the ambiance is set right, as well as keep making sure our food is up to the standards that we have become known for. I hope next time you come visit we will have earned all 5s! Thanks again, and see you soon

Ever have BBQ shrimp and grits crepes for breakfast? Yeah, me neither and I would gladly have it again. Fantastic dish! My friend ordered the veggie quiche and potatoes. She really liked both. Hope to come back sometime soon!
