Things to do in Ballina
The Lantern Tea Room offers breakfast, lunch, morning and afternoon tea, and high tea in a quaint, old-style setting. Specialties include cakes, scones, pancakes, Devonshire tea, high tea, pastries, soups, picnic packs and Sunday roast. An elegant dining
Met up with friends for a high tea at the Lantern Tea Room, the first time I had been there. Our reserved table was all laid out ready for us; lovely china tea ware. Staff were very friendly and helpful and couldnât do enough for us. Two three tier high tea platters came to the table, one was filled with savouries the other sweet treats. We finished all the savouries but, just couldnât find room to finish off the other platter, I think we were looking at the cream and thinking of waist lines!!!!! Then the scones arrived! A really lovely time was had by all four of us. Would have no trouble recommending this cafe.
Nosh cafe is Ballina's newest cafe, boasting a modern contemporary fit out. Serving up a fresh and delicious range of dishes to suit all diners and their dietary requirements. Serving coffee from local Moonshine roasters, Nosh is open seven days a week of
The Nosh Bagels (one with Hollandaise on the side) and theTriple Berry smoothie were Devine. But only half as good as the coffee, which was the best weâve drank in Ballina. Next time weâre here weâll know where to have brunch. Highly recommended

Four of us had lunch with no alcohol for $80. I chose a prawn and lyche salad which was refreshingly light and made from very fresh ingredients. My father had a tower of breaded whiting fillets, served with a zucchini salad...much more tasty and with chips! Others had the pasta of the day and pork belly..The surroundingsor position are nothing to write home about. It was a very hot night and I was sitting beside the window with the Sun on my back. It would've been nice to of had ice cold water, but we went for lunch and the lunch was very good and a very reasonable price.

A unique specialty coffee experience in a plant filled warehouse. Old Quarter Coffee Merchants import, roast and serve their own beans along with a simple, quick menu. Their coffee is 100% Direct Trade, sourced from ethnic minorities across Southeast Asia
Friendly owners and fantastic coffee, what a winning combo! Well worth stopping in for the best coffee in town!

I get a coffee here when in Ballina. Interesting, though, that customers wanting to pay have to wait to PayWave until after another customer has finished ordering their "usual" coffee by phone. Annoying. Fruit toast is good.

Fish and Chips, Pizza, Coffee and Ice Cream.
Great service with a smile and excellent food, drinks and menu. Location is right next to the beach which is really beautiful and close to the heart of Ballina. Family friendly and the kids loved it. Thank you for reviewing us, we are happy that your family enjoyed visiting Brighton St. We hope to see you again soon

We are a locally owned family cafe opening 7 days a week for breakfast and lunch. We open for Dinner only during the Daylight Saving time period. The cafe is located in the Surf Club building on Lighthouse Beach. Enjoy a meal, a coffee, a drink as you wat
On arrival we were warmly greeted by the staff and shown to a table by the window so we could enjoy the beach view. Our coffee orders were taken immediately while we perused the menu. This was greatly appreciated and shows the staff have been well trained. Coffee came quickly and our orders were taken. My husband had the Eggs Benedict and he was impressed with sourdough and the amount of salmon which came with the dish. I had the Breakfast Stack which included a tasty pumpkin and corn fritter, salmon, rocket and a poached egg. It also had hollandaise sauce which I asked to have on the side and it was no problem. All the poached eggs were perfectly cooked. We were so pleased we made the decision to have breakfast here and definitely will return when next in the area.

Had lunch with a friend with a friend under the trees at the Gallery. I had the garlic prawns (forgot to take pic) which tasted very nice and presented beautifully and my friend had the gnocchi which again presented well but she said was disappointing taste wise. Overall itâs a nice place but I wouldnât rave about it. Left feeling a bit underwhelmed.

Middle eastern inspired restaurant with authentic and freshly made food with Sydney chic. Open 7 days a week from 7:00-15:00 kitchen closes at 14:30
Open early (7:00am) and on the Main Street with plenty of parking outside. The menu was inspired, and infused with Middle Eastern flavours. Great, friendly service and quick, too.
