Pepper (a lovely dog) will be the friendly host! Hidden Creek Cafe offers a casual lunch experience overlooking Hidden Creek vineyard. The winery is just off the New England Highway in Ballandean and visitors stop in for both the cafe and the cellar door, which offers a range of elegant white and red wines and a pink moscato that has proven to be a crowd favourite. The cafe offers dishes that can be perfectly paired with the estate's wines and the menu offers a broad array of Modern Australian cuisine. Thanks for your kind review.

Cellar door providing tasting and sales of mason wines enjoy lunch at our lovely cafe overlooking our vineyard and the surrounding hills of Ballandean
We visited for lunch and managed to enjoy the serenity overlooking the lake/vines being the only diners there at the time. We arrived quite late in the day, so we rang ahead, and whilst we were made aware over the phone it was close to kitchen closing time, we were greeted with a friendly smile & their nicest table set ready for our lunch. With one of us being GF, we must applaud the chefs talent in making about 2/3 of the entire menu into GFO's for us challenging diners! We found the menu & food to be simply tasty, well prepared, well priced & speedy to the table. Whilst we only tried one wine on this particular visit we look forward to going back to taste the rest at the cellar door & hopefully have lunch again!

Jamworks at first glance going 80km on the highway with its abundance of cars parked, there has to be a reason right? You wont be dissapointed, stopped in due to curiosity and found an abundance of jams, chutneys, rubs and condiments to tantilise and also boost flavour. Jamworks shares it journey to its very well presented facility today, and takes pride in their various and vast achievements. Local indigenous artwork adorns the walls each sharing its story and acknowledge to the artist. Menu looked very inviting however we had just finished breakfast prior. Grabbed a few things to take back with us, and gifts for family members, to date have used the Chilli Jam in Slow cooked Lamb Shanks and taco mix in rissoles, very tasty and flavours are noticeable, would highly recommend and turn around area bit further up if you miss the turn off.Dear EatMeetGreet,Thank you for leaving such an amazing review....it's made our day!We are so glad you enjoyed our experience at Jamworks, but only sorry you didn't get to sample our amazing food by Chef Tony. And Wow, what great ideas you had for our Chilli Jam and Taco mix, we would love to see some photo's if you have any.Thank you once again for your kind words, and look forward to welcoming you back for Breakfast or Lunch...you know where we are now, no worries about driving past!.Steph & Christine
