Counter ordering but food delivered to table and bussed after. Great " farmers scramble", sour dough toast and flavorful, unlimited pour your own coffee. Very pleasant setting and comfortable booths and tables. A favorite spot for breakfast and conversation or relax with a crossword puzzle. Reasonable prices and good brunch food. Cut above most fast casual. All dishes prepared to order. Friendly staff.

Had lunch in this restaurant and all I can say that was good about the place is that it is clean, the french fries were crisp and the portions are large. The menu is centered around pizzas, pasta and sandwiches in humungous slabs of bread. The sandwiches are bland. The salmon I ordered was fair but the sauce for the side was loaded with some sort of exotic spice that made it inedible. Same for the salad dressing. We had five different items from the menu and none were tasty. It seemed that there was no one in the kitchen that actually tasted the food they were serving. In addition the staff is rather apathetic. No smiles anywhere. It is a real shame because the kosher menu gives them a semi-captive clientele ... they deserve better food.

Opened in 2007 based off the same love for food, quality ingredients, and good friends that flourished Sabrinaâs Cafe in the Italian Market; Sabrina's Cafe and Spencerâs Too hopes to satisfy even the loneliest of tummy's with behemoth portions and decaden
This really popular café has fantastic meals with great portions. My forest mushroom frittata was amazing! I recommend adding yourself to the Yelp waitlist; I heard walk-ins for 2 or 3 people were told a 60-75 minute wait-time at around noon/12:30 PM. Because it was so crowded, the waitstaff were a bit harried, but our waitress was also very friendly and was able to make accommodations when we wanted to customize a dish.

The first U.S. Caffè from an award winning cast of Gelato artisans and coffee artisans Stefano Biasini & Michele Morelli. Come early mornings for espresso & gelato made in house. Come back for lunch to explore an extensive food and wine menu in Rittenhous
We've been back here several times since I reviewed the Gran Caffe L'Aquila in downtown Philadelphia two years ago, And when a restaurant holds it's quality over that time, it deserves a fresh review and kudos for not losing its stroke. Since my last review was extensive, no need to be repetitious. Check out the menu. But better than menu items, this place has daily themed menus and great wine pairings inspired by regions in Italy. Sicily night this time. I strongly advise you to allow the server to guide you through the regional offerings and doubt you will be disappointed. And , of course, finish with the legendary gelato. our Amaretto Gelato with cookie was creamy and delicious. This is one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Philadelphia and for that matter, on the East Coast. We even went back for brunch on the morning after our dinner. I'd say it is high-end, price-wise, but what's not pricey at great restaurants?
