The Wildflower Cafe has been providing the city of Arcata with delicious vegetarian food for over 25 years!
I've been coming here for years, the menu remains unchanged, adequate but could use a bit of updating and wider selectionService variable, only got the correct toast once, which is annoyingThis has to be the only cafe I've been in where some guy walks in, talks to the staff and then starts panhandling me, staff were oblivious

We stopped here on drive between Willits and Bandon. I had a refreshing pluot salad with just the right amount of goat's cheese and dressing on the side. The cafe was buzzing and everyone - staff and patrons alike were in a happy and helpful mood. A great stop for us road-trippers and clearly a place enjoyed by locals. Thank you.

Most Farm to Table restaurants are high-end, but this place offers a wealth of delicious, affordable choices with a new menu each day. Most entrees are $12 and the Bowl of Good Food is only $8, which for organic, carefully-cooked food is a real bargain. There's plenty for vegetarians and vegans here, too. The poached eggs are perfectly cooked with orange yolks; the beans in their own sauce are likewise nicely cooked, not mushy and keeping their shape without being indigestible; the sauteed greens are a rare treat in a restaurant. I wish I knew what's in that addictive cilantro sauce! I am a picky eater and i loved everything here -- came back the next day for more!

A new restaurant is always a curiosity in Arcata. This one is absolutely terrific. I had rack of lamb, and it was perfection: beautifully seasoned, lovely portion, served on such fresh vegetables. My friend had salmon, and again, rave reviews. Our server was a lovely young man. It's nice to see they are doing well. Next time: brunch.

We ate here around 10 a.m. on a Sunday. They serve breakfast AND lunch at that time. It was very crowded and we scored one of the two tables outside. A bluegrass band was playing and we could here them from outside. I loved their hash browns. My husband enjoyed his turkey melt.

We really enjoy having our business breakfasts here. They let us linger over excellent coffee, their service is excellent (how does Jorge remember our orders - with substitutions and extras - and deliver them perfectly??? impressive), and the food very good. My favorite is the cheese omelet with extras of broccoli, tomatoes and mushrooms with beans (instead of hash browns) and wheat toast. We will certainly return again - a wonderful place to have breakfast or lunch!!

Went here for breakfast one morning, reminded me of a small European, hip and artsy place. Had a long line waiting outside and to me that is a strong indication that it must be good! The service was friendly and rather quick. We enjoyed 3 rather LARGE crepes; the "Del Sol," the "Got Yer Goat," and the "Crepe Normandy." All yummy even tho I couldn't finish mine and ate the next day. You can look up descriptions and hours on line (closed Mon.) Definitely recommend!
